Stuck at the AKL?

I thought everything was planned to the last detail, until they changed all the hours on me! I am a little concerned about the night we have a ps at Jiko at 8pm, since we are staying at BWV and will need to use the busses to get back to our room. I'm thinking that the busses will run only an hour after the parks close to the parks, but they continue to run later to DD and the resorts, so we should be able to hop on one from AKL to DD, then pick one up to BWV, Right?

The buses to down town run til all hours, and taxi rides aren't that expensive if you're too tired to make the trek by bus.

Yep, Downtown Disney is the after-hours transportation hub. The only thing I hate about it is that the buses tend to be so CROWDED!! Once I just wanted to wait until the next bus because I didn't want to have to stand all the way to our hotel on the one that was currently loading, and the driver was NOT happy...he kept saying, "You may as well get on this one because it's a long time till the next one." But really, the next one was pretty prompt, and at a late hour I'd rather just stand at the bus stop than on a stop & go, crowded bus. Oh well, at least it gets you from point A to point b (eventually).

We did thid last week. Had Reservations at 8:00 (wonderful meal) and the took the bus to DD and back to PO-R. We didn't wait long and neither bus was real crowded. Faith

I agree the bus to Downtown Disney and transfer is very easy. You can also get some shopping done inbetween.
The approximate cost of a taxi from AKL to BWV is $8-$10.
