So Wednesday was our DCA day. We went to
Disneyland first. Let me start by saying I was ready to go home after Tuesday night. We(dh and I) left the park not speaking on Tuesday. Bad ending to the day. But, Wednesday morning dh woke up in a good mood and things got much better the rest of the week. Glad we didn't leave.
Ok so we went into Disneyland and rode Space Buzz and managed to do all of Fantasyland and RR before heading to DCA at 10. We got FPs for Soarin and headed to get FPs for WOC. We got the red section. I wasn't happy. I thought for sure this would not turn out well. Anyway, so from there we went to ride GRR. Youngest dd loved it(she was too little last trip). By the time we got off it was time to get another Soarin FP and eat. We had Taste Pilots. It was good once again. We then went to ride the Zephyr and then Little Mermaid(horrible 40 min wait.) From there it was Goofy's with another 40 mins and then Toy Story with a 45 min wait. My feet were killing me by now. I don't mind walking but just standing in one places kills me and unfortunately this trip was bad for that.
From TSMM we went back to get another FP for Soarin and ride again. From there it was over to Monsters and Bugs Land. We did the bumper cars and Fliks Flyers and Heimlich(I know lame ride but I love it.)
By now kids were hungry again so we went to Cocina Cucamonga to eat. We loved their food last time and it didn't disappoint again.
After dinner it was time for another trip on Soarin and then over to wait at WOC. It was already almost 7:30 when we got there and there was at least 30 people in front of us. I just knew it was going to be where we couldn't see. So at 8 when they finally let us thru I was totally suprised when they guy said...would you like to sit in the wet zone. Of course we jumped at it. It was chilly that night and of course we forgot our jackets. Just sitting by the water was kinda cold for us desert dwellers. As we were sitting there the guy came around with Ponchos(hey MATT...we NEEDED THEM). I was like should I get them, at least for the girls and when the girl next to us said we wouldn't need them we opted not to. Well, guess what. The wind was blowing pretty good and when we left the show....we were DRENCHED. There was not a dry spot on us and we could ring out our clothes.
About the spot...it was really good. We were on an angle but, we could clearly see everything. And we loved loved loved the show. This was dh's fav part of the trip. He actually wanted to go back and see it again but we couldn't fit it in. We will definately be going again next trip(with jackets and ponchos.)
We had GRR fp's for 9:15 but there was no way we could stay in the park another minute.
Wednesday was such a great day.
Up next...Thursday(the worst park day for crowds), F! Fireworks and the people I wanted to hurt.
