Please Help!

We have both our Sunday - Thur weeks booked at SSR in a 1 bdr starting May 28th.

The weekend in between (June 2-4) I am really struggling. We normally just stay in a studio for 12 nights straight to avoid moving, but that was only until the boys were bigger, now they are bigger

So I have to decide, between VB OVIR, BCV, and a SSR studio.

We are driving to FL. so we will have a vehicle, so VB is doable. Just not sure if we will want to drive anymore once we are there. We have never been to VB.

Then there is BCV which has weekend availability, but we will most likely not get into our room until after 3 pm and Dh always says we lose a day packing and unpacking. The good thing, is we would get to visit our home (I like BCV but for shorter stays) for a couple of days, since I did not book us there this year at all. We may even add the DP since we will not have the kitchen.

SSR would probably be the easiest move with the possibility of moving from the 1 bdr to the connecting studio. Even if not connecting, we should be able to move somewhere in the same building and we have had really good luck at SSR checking in and receiving our rooms early.

I do have VB and SSR booked (holding points) so now I have to choose.

WWYD?

If it were me, I would pick either VB or BCV, for the different swimming experiences. VB has the 2 queen beds in the ocean view inn room, so may be more comfortable there, and since you never tried it... We've been there over a Memorial Weekend (last year) and had beautiful weather, so I suppose that would win out for me.

Best wishes as you make your decision!

I'd second Vero. It's a perfect place for a short getaway. Very relaxing, beautiful. We love the ocean view inn rooms.

Vero would be something different and I think a couple of nights there is plenty. We enjoyed our stay there but, frankly, we did not think it surpassed any beach experiences we have had closer to home at NC/SC beach resorts. But glad we did it once...loved having cocktails overlooking the ocean.

I have not done Vero yet - like you, the thought of packing up, driving there, then coming back puts me off.

Can you rent the points to stay in a one bed for your full stay? Second option would be a studio at SSR - a lot less moving around, so wouldn't spoil your trip so much.

I will be there when you are - but at WLV from 24th May to 1st June!

Since you have to pack and unpack to move even if you stay at SSR, I'd vote for a different resort. VB might be a great way to break up a WDW trip, though in addition to packing and unpacking you lose some time driving.

Now that your boys are bigger....sounds like an add-on is in your future! ;)
