I have to agree with Melodious. It is all about being immersed in Disney!!
It seems that many of the people who bash Values have never actually stayed at one (and maybe never even visited one?). Outside of Disney we generally do stay deluxe but I would never compare a Value to a motel 6. Values still have magic! I have stayed in lovely Marriott's with rooms smaller than a Value and double beds as well. We did spend a non-park trip at AKL and it is awesome to wake up in the middle of the night to see animals right outside your room. It is an experience I will remember. But I will always choose to stay at a Value if it means I can stay longer! Staying offsite is not an option.
