i have only just started looking for prices/places next year, still debating on when to go and where to stay, would love to stay onsite depending on price, but looking offsite as well, have 3 young children 3, 5, 7 and dh, don't fancy driving so think villa is out of the ? and also i feel i would still be washing and cleaning, so want to get away from that.

hope you guys can help me out, its getting more confusing everytime i look at sites.

thanks jane

Port Orlean's Riverside seems to be the one who cater for families of 5.

Offsite - try the Sheraton Vistana Villages - the complex and its location are absolutely perfect and the 2 bedroom suites with the whirlpool are heavenly!
www.starwoodvo.com or the Virgin Holidays brochure (although the brochure really doesn't do it justice)

Port Orleans Riverside rooms have a 'trundle bed' that you pull out from under one of the other beds so they will sleep five. The trundle is ideal for a small child - doesn't look suitable for an adult though :)

POR is a lovely resort with a great food court and a great main pool as well as a number of 'quiet' pools amongst the accommodation buildings - ideal for a nice relaxing dip in the afternoons away from the parks :)

The Doubletree Guest Suites at Downtown Disney may also give you another option.

another vote here for port orleans
great for familys
or you could try the beach club they also sleep five but would cost a lot more
or you can get a suit at the All Stars ,

POR is still my favourite!! our very tall 10 year old was OK on the trundle, but when the girls were younger it was no problem at all. Really quiet and relaxing, the resort is a holiday on it's own!

Other resorts which take five (other than 2 rooms) are Contemporary, Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Beach/Yacht Club, All stars Family suites.

An alternative may be the DVC resorts, either a 1 bedroom direct with Disney, or rent points to save money.
