My DH wants to bring a stroller with us for our daughter who will be 20 months old and I do think it's a good idea for when she is taking a nap or for when we get tired, but what if we all wanted to ride on a particular ride? We're not allowed to bring the stroller with us are we? Do they have a place where we can just leave it and then pick them up?

Yes, all rides have stroller "parking". Just dont leave anything of great value in it. I have never had problem with items stollen, but I have heard of it happening. That being said we do leave diaper bags, etc. in the stroller, just not cameras, or anything we would be too terribly sad to lose!!
Have a great trip!

Thank you Maci, that information really helps. We will be bringing a stroller with us now :) .

I dont know if you care or not but Disney does rent strollers. It may be easier for you flying with a small child to gate check a stroller but if you dont want to deal with bringing one they do rent them. The cost is $7.00 per day and you can get a stroller at either park with the 1 time fee. You can rent a stroller at MK and use it all day, then turn it into the stroller rental place, get a voucher and go to CA and get another stroller there. I am not sure however what type of strollers they are now renting. They have rented the jogging type strollers in the past but I'm not sure if they still rent those or if they have changed them to the hard seat ones.

Just thought I'd throw that out there as well.

Thanks Heidi. We have two types of strollers at home, but are thinking of bringing our portable like one. I'm not sure how clean the rental ones are, but thanks for the info.

The last time we rented a stroller they were using hot water and a professional strength sanitizer but I hear you! I just HATE lugging my stroller around...but it is easier at the airport and you do know it's clean! I only suggested it because my sister in law had her expensive Peg Perego stroller stolen from the "parking lot" and at least if you rent from Disney you can just take your receipt to the front gate and get another one. But I know how you feel!

Have a GREAT Time! We love Disneyland!! My oldest DD (age 10) has been there about 20 times in 10 years and she still begs every year to go back.

Apart from the hygiene issue, I have found that when we rent the stroller it is a collossal pain in the ***. Only because my family use to do the parks commando style and we stay the whole day which means at park closing my daughter is konked out in the stroller. This makes for a rough journey back to the car/shuttle for the poor soul who has to carry her back.

My advice take the light weight stroller, the advantage of having a stroller available from the DLR/DCA exit to your car/shuttle more then compensates you for the minor inconvenience on the plane.

Good Luck have fun

We are thinking of buying another light weight stroller when we get to our destination instead of bringing ours that we have now, so we will only have to put up with it one way coming back with the plane ride.

good idea. We did this when we forgot ours. Just bought a lightweight one at the Target on Harbor across from The Crown Plaza, Hyatt, Joe's Crabshack and The Outback.
