Strollers: rent or bring?

With the arrival of child #3, I'm considering doing something I refused to do in the past. Bring a baby to Disney. So I'm curious to hear your experiences with strollers. Is it better to bring your own, or rent one in park? The idea of having to schlep my stroller on transportation isn't exciting, and I kinda like the idea of renting in park. But the size of the strollers in park seems to be larger, and don't look as comfy. What are your experiences, and dud you regret the decision you made?

We have always brought our own. It is annoying having to fold up the stroller and hold onto it on the bus but we loved having it for those walks back from the bus stop to our resort room at the end of the day.

For a baby I would not rent one of Disney's strollers. We've always rented when we go to disney - no desire to have our stroller in the airport (until dd is walking on her own, I will wear her). We rent a city mini from an offsite company. We've used kingdom strollers and apple strollers and were very happy with both businesses.

Disney strollers are not appropriate for babies. You will need to bring your own or plan to wear her if the weather will not be too warm.

We have always brought our stroller. Sure it's a little extra work using the buses, but man when the park opens up and we zoom on by that VERY long stroller rental line it's worth it. Also great to have at downtown disney and around the hotel.

We had a small car, so we rented from Apple rentals. We got a double city mini (AWESOME!!!) for $60 for 7 days. The first one we got was worn out and it quit opening the first day, they had a replacement for us by the time we got back to Pop on the busses.

We own a City Mini and bring it with us. It's actually not bad to travel with and we like having that option in the airport to get DS around.

We always bring our own. Love having it in the airport and walking from the bus stop to the room. We have a small graco so not too difficult to fold up to get on the bus.

This last trip we did both - we brought our single city mini for the 1 year old (he was just barely starting to walk) and we rented another single city mini from one of the offsite companies for the 4 year old.

It worked out well for both situations -

For the baby - we had something to put him (and all his stuff) in during the airport and waiting in all the lines, etc. He was content to hang out and while we were at Disney I'm sure he had an easier time napping in his familiar stroller.

For the 4-yr old - she didn't need it for the airport and we were happy not to have another thing to keep track of. Upon arrival though she was very happy to have her own set of wheels (especially since our Kidani room was almost at the end of the hallways that never end). Since it was really similar to our existing stroller, but she is older, its difference wasn't an issue (and she did catch a few winks in it at times too).

I would very much recommend either bringing your own or renting from an offsite company. A single city mini folds up easily and flat with one hand and is not too bad on a bus, whereas carrying either sleeping children or baby stuff all the way back to your room at the end of a long day - ugh.

I'm a babywearer so I don't own a decent stroller. So when we go, we rent one. We have rented from magic strollers but have since rented from kingdom strollers multiple times. Love their strollers....double and singles. They fold up very easily for the bus/monorail rides.

We have a stroller from the last baby, but it's large, and I know I'd hate it in Disney. I was thinking about buying a new stroller, but I babywear this one a lot. Thinking I might rent at Disney, and just keep my big stroller for the times I don't wear him.
