Hi I am new and I have a question about the train around the park. The unofficial guide says no strollers on the train...Does that include personal folded umbrella type strollers?

We were able to take our stroller on the train. It wasn't an umbrella kind but one of the lightweight kind. We just had to fold it up.

You can bring your personal stroller on board. We've never had a problem bringing our light-weight/non umbrella stroller on.

We had two strollers with us (one smaller one - still not umbrella and one larger travel system type stroller) and had no problem. It would be difficult to NOT be able to take it in case you wanted to get off at a different stop.

You can take your personal stroller on board (umbrella or otherwise) as long as it can be folded up, we've done it many times and no CM has ever commented on it.

I believe the strollers that the UG is referring to are the rental park strollers. Those can't be folded, therefore you can't get them on the train.

I have always taken personal strollers on WDW RR. Huge strollers and small umbrella strollers with no problem. If you rent a stroller all you have to do is take your name tag with you and leave the stroller at the station. You can get another one when you get off the train.
