strollers on the monorail?

Hi everyone--
Not sure which board to put this ? on. (figured most families have dealt with stroller situations).

I read somewhere that you don't have to fold your stroller up on the monorail-is that true? If so- I may reconsider staying at one of the monorail resorts. Thanks everyone.

well, i am not for sure but the seats on the monorail are limited there is more open space, i am assuming if it is not crowded you can just wheel it on, if it is crowded u might want to consider folding to make room, again i am not for sure on this

Please, if you are in the cabin for handicapped access with your stroller, have the courtesy to move it to let a wheelchair in. A few trips ago, I was waiting for the castmember to put down the ramp and this father goes around me and pops in his stroller with his child sleeping in it. He refused to move it to a position so I could enter the cabin. Really rude.
I ended up having to wait for the next monorail and I was not a happy person at that point.

You can just roll it on the monorail, it's a lifesaver when they are asleep!

Yes, you can just roll your stroller right on. We have never been told to fold ours and never seen anyone do so either, even when it was busy (like at closing). I have been in a monorail car with two strollers in one section and packed full of people and the cars still hold a lot of people.

Yes, you can just wheel it in depending n the size (width). In Dec. I purchased a stroller, close to a jogging stroller. This stroller was too wide for any car but the handicap ones. A umbrella or std. stroller will fit. I can't believe they would not move the stroller for a wheelchair! That is crazy, the cars are specifically marked. Actually one time a CM said we could wait at the car, but if a wheelchair came we would have to wait for the next monorail. This is how it should be.

Thanks everyone.. I wasn't sure and I know at Disneyland they always make the announcement to fold up all strollers.

I cannot believe that person could not wait and allow you to board, first...that was rude.

And I can tell you with my power chair's size it would have been easy to fit both in the cabin.

If it's not too crowded you can roll you child right on. One day in Nov. my daughter and I were there alone and really wanted to ride up front, but we had a stroller with us. The cast member let us put the stroller in the compartment behind the front one and then ride up front!!
