Strollers on Disney Buses?

We just had a small Maclaren Volo that folded up compactly and my DH just held it in front of him where he was sitting or standing. Others had big doubles or just large singles and the dads usually folded them up and stood in the boarding areas(at the rear of the bus- doors) where there was a bit more space. I never saw anyone having too bad of a problem once they drug it toward the back door area. I would recommend folding it while you are waiting and be prepared to get right on when the bus gets there and is ready.

Its not to difficult if you plan for it. We made sure everything was packed up and ready to go before we left the park for the bus queue. We used a backpack so one person could carry the backpack and help the child while the other folded and carried the stroller. Before entering the queue everything was out of the stroller, it was folded and ready to go.

Alternatively, you can wait until the last minute to take everything out of the stroller, partially collapse the thing, curse loudly as you try to get it on the bus, and hit every person you pass while moving toward the rear of the bus. This is a particularly good strategy for extra-crowded buses.

Umbrella-fold strollers can fit below your feet, under the seats that face toward the center of the bus.

Yep - unfortunately this seems to be the plan for too many families!!

Unfortunately this is the strategy my DW likes to follow as she does not want to have to hold the youngest DD. I on the other hand like to have the thing folded and ready to go when the bus arrives. Luckily both of my DD are now walking and I will not have to keep the stroller open until the last minute for them to sit in.

Actually if the stuff is out and packed and the child is in the stroller that isn't too bad especially if a child is sleeping. My dh can fold the stroller pretty quickly so we sometimes do that if the kids are tired or asleep - wait to the last minute. We do however have everything packed up and ready to go except the kids so its very quick and we don't hold up the line.

Another of my favorite things was a snugli or sling when the girls were small. It can be used in lines and areas where strollers are not permitted and a is lifesaver for holding a sleeping or non walking child while boarding the bus.

Its the family with all the stuff crammed separately in the basket and five things hanging off the back and the kid in the stroller blocking the bus entrance that make me go "hummm". Just take a few minutes before hitting the bus stop to pack up all the loose stuff into the diaper bag or back pack and your pretty much ready do go.
