Strollers in Restaurants?

This is potentially a dumb question, but if your kid falls asleep and sleeps through the meal, how do you feed that kid? Do you stop somewhere else later just to get him or her a meal?

My DS will be 18 months when we go to Disney and I was planning on just having him eat at the same time we do. Is that wishful thinking??
If he eats at the same time you do at home, that will more then likely work fine at Disney too

put the car seat into the bottom of a high chair (apparently they're designed to hold them)

1) They had to.
2) Turning a high chair upside down was VERY dangerous, and many parents didn't even care.
3) The chairs did tip over and kids "spilled out".
4) We heard a few parents tried to sue WDW, but could not, as the chairs were not used as intended.

Ok I don't entirely understand your post but the bottom of the chair had clips for the car seat and instructions for how to place the seat in the stand so I was comfortable that we were using it as intended.

Looks pretty secure to me!

I'm surprised any restaurants are still allowing the high chairs to be flipped over and used for the car seat, there have been many reports of them accidentally tipping over. Some of the restaurants in WDW have the bucket style high chairs for infants instead.

I think he is saying that WDW had to switch high chairs to the ones you used as the prior ones were not being used by customers safely.

We brought our stoller into sci-fi and O'hana but only because our 5 month old was sleeping in it and too small for a high chair. I had to hold him at Via Napoli and CRT as it would have been impossible to get the stroller in either of those anyhow. So glad he can sit up and eat real food now when we go next month for his first birthday.

1) Those are new/revised high chairs.
2) There were too many incidents of kids falling to the ground when the older chairs were tipped/flipped over.
