Can I bring my stroller into the table service restaurants? Or is there "stroller parking"?

If it depends on the restaurant, please post where you were able to bring a stroller inside?

Thank you!

My recollection for all restaurants is stroller parking at the front outside the restaurant but at my age you can't always rely on my memory. :)

I was able to bring the stroller to the table at O'Hana, SCIFI, crystal Palace, rainforest Cafe, Hollywood and vine...those I remember for sure. I wasn't expecting to b able to, but most of the time the hostess asked ahead of time (baby was too young to sit up so it really came in handy.) I know there is never a guarantee but it worked for us easily.

Stroller park at restaurants. We only brought ours in when we had a baby too young for a high chair.

Stroller parking is usually outside somewhere. At 'Ohana it's near the windows behind the checkin podium; Be Our Guest is to the right of the main door outside. It varies but I wouldn't rely on being able to bring the stroller in and have a plan in place in case you cannot. :)

We've never been able to bring our stroller into a restaurant so I wouldn't count on being able to. If they do let you, that's great! But just be prepared to have to park it outside.

The few times my son was asleep in his stroller we did not have a problem bringing it in. The couple places I recall specifically were Teppan Edo and Mama Melrose.

We've brought ours into H&V and 1900 park fare. We only brought them in because our 3 year old was sleeping (slept through both of those dinners).

We were able to bring our 8 month old into Kona when he fell asleep for a lunch reservation. I think if the restaurant has the room and child is an infant and is sleeping they are more likely to let you in with your stroller.

There is stroller parking unless there is a special need such as the child is asleep and cannot be moved or needs the stroller for other reasons. The restaurants are not set up to have a stroller "parked" in an aisle.

We brought ours in Kona Cafe. The hostess asked us if we wanted to bring it to the table. We were actually pretty surprised we were able to. It was nice though because DD wasn't old enough to sit up in the highchair for the length of a meal. They made sure to put us at a table that it wouldn't be in anyone's way. It worked great.

Plan as if you won't be allowed to bring it in. That way if you can, it will be a great perk. But you won't be struggling if you can't because you will have your plan!

1) MANY eateries do not allow strollers, as they frequently block aisles and are a hazard.
. . . I know of several instances where employees or guests stumbled over strollers guests did not keep under the table
2) But, some of those do allow the stroller if the child is sleeping in the stroller (IF asleep while at the podium).

We have brought strollers to many TS- usually bc one member of the DS team is sleeping and out cold. I have had CM try to wake my kids up, try a later reservation, or just bring it in and figure out best how to deal with it. I have always felt bad- but what can you do. TS where we have not had a lot of luck- Garden Grill, BOG, and Le Cellier (but they made it work at the end). I always felt awful bc it was a double. We have had a stroller at CRT, LTT, GFC, Ohana, Biergarten, Chef Mickeys, The Wave.

We have been allowed to bring a stroller into Marrakesh, Le Cellier, and Hoop Dee Doo when my youngest was 11 weeks old on her first trip. We were given an infant style high chair to put her in at Chef Mickey's and Garden Grille. These had the type of seat similar to what shopping carts have for babies.

When were at Disney over Thanksgiving, my cousin's toddler was asleep and they were allowed to keep him in the stroller at Whispering Canyon.

We brought ours in to Le Cellier when DS was an infant and sleeping. It felt like a fine dining date night!

Things must have changed in recent years. In past years, we were never allowed to take a stroller into a TS. We were on free dining with TS (on at least two different trips) so we went to a lot of restaurants and none of them let the stroller in, even if the kid was sleeping. I had to wake up sleeping kids (yeah, not fun, including a particularly unpleasant time at Le Cellier -- would have been much more peaceful to everyone around us if we had just been allowed to bring the sleeping stroller in the restaurant). And I have pictures of my 4-month old daughter on the floor at Crystal Palace in her car seat and rocking her with my foot.

I was able to bring my stroller in to every restaurant except the Plaza in MK and 1900 Park Fare. My ds was only 7 weeks old though so he obviously couldn't sit up. I was able to bring the car seat into both restaurants where we didn't have the stroller. in Plaza we wedged the car seat onto a bench and in 1900 we put the car seat into the bottom of a high chair (apparently they're designed to hold them)

This is potentially a dumb question, but if your kid falls asleep and sleeps through the meal, how do you feed that kid? Do you stop somewhere else later just to get him or her a meal?

My DS will be 18 months when we go to Disney and I was planning on just having him eat at the same time we do. Is that wishful thinking??
