Strollers for Two Kids

We're leaving for WDW in 16 days and I have a question regarding a double stroller. I have a 5 and 1 year old who will definately need to rest their feet and use it.

I have a jogging double stroller but I'm wondering how much of a pain it will be to get on the monorail, buses, etc. It doesn't collapse that nicely.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do?

I posted a similar question about 2 months ago and the consensus for my children (DD is 3 yrs 2 months, DS is almost 10 months) was to either bring two umbrella strollers or bring the double stroller and don't plan to take the bus. So I priced out rental cars (actually a minivan) and it turned out to be a reasonable cost so we are bringing our Maclaren Twin Traveller. We're staying at CR so the only time we need to bring the minivan out is for AK and Disney-MGM, so we figure it should be ok.

However, if my daughter were 5 vs. 3, I'd probably opt to bring my single for my little guy and rent a single for my daughter when I got there.

My two aren't as spread in years as yours are (4 & 2), but my younger is small/light. In November we took 2 singles. We only took the second in at night. Even then we had a hard time convincing our older to use it. When we went back in June we took one stroller, and only took it in the evenings. DD (4) walked all except a 1/2 hour here or there - when that happened we took the younger out and let the older ride. There was just too much interesting them for them to ride. We figured if there was an emergency we'd rent one, but never needed to.

We are a family of dd1 and dd4. DD4 is just too darn heavy to lift in & out of a stroller & she wants the freedom of running around but we want the convenience of throwing her in a stroller to get someplace much faster. We bought a Sit-n-Stand stoller so dd1 could use the seated section & dd4 can sit on a jump seat thing or just stand on the back. It is bulky & we rented a car so we did not have to have the hassle of folding it up for a bus. But it worked out really well! You can find them on eBay or any kids store - we got ours at Right Start,
