My husband is 6'6 and we are going to Disney with our 2 1/2 year old triplets this Halloween. We were at Babies r us and tried quite a few and they seemed really low. Does anyone have any ideas???

A few years back I remember seeing extender handles for umbrella strollers made especially for tall people. They were in baby catalogs and specialty stores like The Right Start.

Good luck!!!

My husband and are both over 6 feet tall and have good luck with the jeep strollers. I do not feel like I'm hunched over when I push it. We bought ours at JcPenny. It folds up nice and fits perfect in my car.

Try the Maclaren Volo. We had this at DL with our friend who is 6' 4" and he said it was the first one he ever liked. I have also seen "stroller handle extensions", you could search on-line.

We got our extenders from Right Start store. I think they were 14.99 about 2-3 years ago. We love them, especially when you are trying to find your stroller in sea of other strollers that all look the same!!

I have the Maclaren Techno XT. This model has adjustable handles. We love it! :flower:

We have the Bugaboo Frog and the handle is higher than most strollers we checked out. I'm 6'2" and have no problems with the hunched over feeling I get from other strollers after pushing our daughter around the city all day. I know that at $750 a pop, it's a little pricey, but for city dwellers, the stroller is a lifesaver. I believe that Bugaboo has recently come out with the Chameleon that has an adjustable handle for very tall people, and might be up your alley.

I am 5'9 (tall by some standards) and we have a chicco caddy that works very well. It is a well made, durable, has a ton of great features and is aless expensive althernative to the McClaren strollers (which I have never heard a bad word about!). I'd still go for the handle extenders since you and your hubby are quite tall! Deffinitely take whatever one you get for a test drive if you can! Have a great trip!

Chicco Likes:

Light Aluminum
Rain Fly
Turns on a Dime
Travel Bag
Reclines slightly
Sun Canopy
Cool Color Choices (I went for bright yellow)
Works well for taller people

Chicco Dislikes:

Had to add a bag on the back for storage and it doesnt match.
Ditto for the cup holder.

are you looking for a double and a single? try the inglesina twin swift and the inglesina swift. along with maclaren, they are good for tall parents...and they are cheaper than maclaren :)

One thing to consider - handle extenders may make it easier for you to push with your hands, but won't eliminate the problem with toe room (kicking the back of the stroller).

My DH has been happiest with our Teutonias as far as height and toe room, but they are harder to come by these days (check eBay). Also, look for something without a bar between the back wheels to help with the kicking part.

Does anyone know where you can find handle extenders for travel systems? I only ever see them for umbrella strollers. It seems as if the stroller companies don't think you can be tall and have an infant at the same time. :rotfl:

My husband is a little over 6 feet and we had bought a Combi stroller for our upcoming trip, but it was a little low (even for me and I am only 5'3), so we bought a Chicco this past weekend - we cruised around the mall with it and DH thought that it was great - it's a good 5-6 inches higher than the Combi and even a few inches higher than our full-sized Graco. It is a great little stroller, nice recline, canopy, basket, and it comes with a free rain shield. It is also water repellent, which will be nice for water park days, etc.
