Is there stroller parking available at hoop de doo/ Also do most restaurants allow you to bring strollers into the restaurants?

I'm pretty sure you have to leave your stroller outside (near the restrooms) before you go in.

Last august we had to park the stroller outside. We didn't bring the stroller in to any TS restaurant. But they always have a stroller parking area.

On the trip to WDW when our youngest DD was about 3 months old, we brought her stroller into the following with no problems:

--Hoop Dee Doo

--Cape May

--Marrakesh

--Ohana Character Breakfast

--Le Cellier

There is so little space into the Hoop De Doo as it is, I can't even imagine there being room for a stroller

We were at a large table, about the second from the stage all the way to the right with no one to the right side of us. I believe the Piano Player was near us? Can't remember but something large was there. LOL Anyway, they did allow the stroller to come in (I think it was after checking which table we would actually be at though first). We had no problems with it being in the way or anything where we were seated.

Typically, strollers are not allowed into restaurants mainly due to fire codes. The aisles in between tables need to be clear at all times. Also, servers need to be able to walk around easily and there cannot be any risk of food or beverages being accidentally spilled onto a child in the stroller.

At Hoop Dee Doo especially, the strollers are an issue since the performers are in the audience for a lot of the show.

If you think about it, have you ever really seen a stroller in a Chili's or a TGI Friday's? Disney World isn't any different.

Wow you really lucked out!

I don't know how long it was when you were allowed to bring your stroller inside the restaurants because I haven't seen a stroller in a restaurant in years. The last time I saw a stroller inside was about 6 or 7 years ago, long before the Dining Plans were implemented.

If your child can fit into a booster seat of any kind, and sit up, then it would be wise to leave the stroller outside. Those tables are packed in pretty tightly at HDDR. We've always just left ours outside the restaurant. No problems doing that.

This was September 2006. The CM wasn't sure at first, but after checking did let us. We were the last ones let in though. My DD was a tiny little thing at 3 months and I'm not sure if they had the Infant Highchairs there or not. I am assuming not if they allowed the stroller. I did always have a Pouch Sling handy for anyplace that didn't have the Infant Highchairs although I wasn't the greatest at eating and not spilling with it on. LOL
