I have just heard that strollers are not allowed to be taken on the train to Conservation Station at AK. Is this true? It is such a long walk at the other end if you have a heavy, non-walking baby. Someone tell me its not true?! We have to go there to meet Stanley as I have 2 bigger walking Playhouse Disney nuts,
Hopefully waiting,
Claire

They ask that rented Disney Strollers are left before you get on the train. (to be picked up when you get back.) You can bring your own stroller with you as long as you can fold it up and take it on the train (if you can get it in your trunk, you can fit it on the train.) This can be good since you have some walking to do once you get there.

BTW if you have young kids don't miss this, it is one of the best things for little ones. Lots of fun, go in the building to cool off. They have meet in great there too, Stanley, Pochoantas, Lion King etc... They have a really cool wishing fountian that when you throw in coins makes the noises of the animial it hits.

thanks for your quick response and for helping me relax, one less little detail to worry about.

we also took our stollers on the train and I agree with DisneyPhd. My kids loved it especially the affection station

We just went yesterday and had no problem bringing our stroller. They may restrict it when it's more crowded.

The problem is the rental strollers because they don't fold.

When we were there, they had courtesy strollers when you get down the train at Conservation Station, so you don't have to take yours in the train.

there are free strollers to borrow so there is no need to take your own

I just wanted to add that you can bring the stroller to Conservation Station but you can not take it inside or to the petting zoo area. Once we got to the main area, they had us park the stroller.

Thanks for all your replies and helpful info. I'll be sure to go and check it out now I know what to do,
Claire
