Strollers @ Airports

Hi All!

With the 'heightened' airport security since 9/11, does anyone know if you can still check strollers at the gate? Or do they make you check them with the luggage?

We have had no trouble bringing strollers through security, as recently as 12/27/02. Our stroller is a "fancy" umbrella model that when folded will go through the x-ray machine. I don't know if you would have trouble with one of the larger ones that will not go through x-ray when folded.
