Stroller???

My DS is going to be 22months when we go. I was wondering if we would be better off bringing our clunky stroller that has a basket and reclines or picking up an umbrella stroller. I'm not sure how well napping would go in an umbrella stroller though. Also DD 5 hates to walk for distances, she's forever jumping on the back of the stroller to get a ride. Any suggestions?

I would bring one that reclines if you think it will help your ds rest, i would also make sure it has a sunshade.

I would probably consider bringing the umbrella for your 5 yo for the days with the big parks.

We just got back wednesday with our 23 1/2 month old. We brought a graco umbroller (35 bucks at walmart). It reclines, has a sunshade, a popholder, and a basket and weights only 10 lbs and we were very happy with it for dw. He slept in it every day.

I would never have brought our full size (ours is about as big as they make them and weights about a million lbs ) but I know some 'full size' ones are much more compact than ours. I would rather lug a full size onto a bus though than have a cranky toddler in an umbrella that doesnt recline.

Bring a stroller that you and your child is most comfortable in. I brought my full-size Zippy when my son was 11 months. He was able to take his morning and afternoon naps in it. Now when we go in Dec I'm planning on bringing my Maclaren Umbrella stroller. He's used to it and I like how compact it is. I've learned to live without a cupholder!

Definitely bring your own. That way you'll have it when everyone is exhausted at the end of the day. Otherwise someone will have to carry her (and all your stuff) out of the parks.

Thanks I think I will get an umbrella stroller for DD too. It will help with the long days and bring DS stroller that he is used to.
