Stroller use in the parks?

We're flying AirCanada, and AFAIK they only allow umbrella strollers to be gate checked. Not really an issue anyway as I do not want our P&T's to be gate checked and risk having it damaged as we do not have bag for it. We've flown with this other stroller before and it really works well for hauling my DS's carseat through the airport.
I just took a peek at AC's website and checked their policies. They are very restrictive compared to other airlines.

I have checked many different strollers with Air Canada and not had a problem, but I can see you not taking a P & T if you do not have a bag. Of course I had never checked their web site to see their restrictions.

Based on their website, the difference is that they will only gate check an umbrella stroller. Larger strollers can be checked at the ticket counter and will go against your checked luggage allotment.

You cannot bring your stroller in line for the characters that are inside a building in toon town - Mickey, the princesses, etc. For the characters that are outside, we had our stroller in line with us several times - usually it was me by myself with DD4 and DD8 months so no way could I not have DD8 months in the stroller. It was not a problem at all. We also brought the stroller into counter service restaurants too. We were just there last week. As far as child swap goes, you get a pass, like a fastpass at the entrance to the ride, then one parent rides with the child in the normal line or fastpass line if you have a valid fastpass, when they finish the ride, the other parent can use the rider switch pass to ride again with the child by going through the fast pass line with it.

seriously very dramatic. We came back a couple months ago and we brought our $800 stroller with us. We had no problems. A little common sense (don't leave the stroller for hours on end, don't leave expensive things in the stroller, don't tie a fake bag of dirty diaper to it etc) goes a long way. We did have a lock to lock the back wheels together but used it once or twice when we were going to dinner and would be gone for a while.

My sister had a REALLY nice stroller when we were there 10 years ago...no problems. She NEVER left anything important in it. Just sippy cups, diapers and wipes, and maybe a change of clothes or two, but cameras, fanny packs, went with us on the rides. Coming out...no the stroller wasn't in the same exact spot, but we tied a pink ribbon to it to find it faster! :thumbsup2

How much does it cost to rent from Orlando Strollers?

I just rented a Baby Jogger City Mini Double from Orlando Strollers on our trip last week. Best thing I ever did! We didn't really need the stroller in the airport since there were 4 adults wrangling 2 kids, and we wanted them to walk to get their energy out before the flight. The stroller was waiting at my resort when we arrived, and it was a dream. The seats reclined independently so the girls could nap when they wanted. The sunshades were huge. It folded up with the pull of 2 straps. The basket underneath was a little small, but we had a backpack for all our stuff anyways. Totally worth it!

OP, have you thought about a baby carrier? I have an Ergo and would wear my 20 month old in line if she was sleeping.

We often used rental strollers. found it worked well to do the pre-pay option. Only drawback is that you can't take them out of the park...so long walks to tram/bus and from bus-stop to room can be a hassle.

That only applys to the Disney rentals if you rent from any of the above companies you gave the stroller 24/7
