My children are 4 and 2.
We barely use a stroller at all anymore, but I know we will need one in disney.
Is it worth to bring my own or rent?
Also, I am considering in investing in another stroller.
I would like to know the best stroller for the money out there that folds up the smallest?
So far I think the combi line folds the smallest?
Any other suggestions?

How do you travel on an airplane with a stroller?

for the ages and sizes of your kiddos I would pass on the combi it will be hard to push. You might want to look more at the mac twin techno or rally twin. another option is the baby jogger city mini if you would rather not buy it you can try it by renting it from www.orlandostrollerrentals.com it has book fold but is pretty flat when folded.

ETA~ check your local CL they have a few mac doubles and a bjcmd.

Thanks.
So I really will most likely need a double...
Hmmm....
I have never flown with my kids let alone taken a stroller. :)

Rather than buy a new stroller that you won't use again, or pay rental fees and only be able to use it in the park, check out a stroller swap where you can basically borrow/share a stroller that is already at the park. Many are free others have a small buy-in of $20 or so for the length of you stay, I've seen sit and stand, doubles an singles all available. Stroller swaps, fridge swaps and photo pass shares are on the budget board if you're interested!

I flew for my very first time this past dec and it was my younger dd's first time as well she has special needs and functions on the level of an 8mth old so I was extremely nervous w/ her b/c my dh didn't go w/ us. She did surprisingly well our flight was non stop an just over an hour we fly out of new orleans. I brought a ziploc bag full of fruity cheerios for my younger dd to munch on and my older dd had gum b/c I was concerned about the ear popping. bring what works for you in that matter whether its gum, cookies, cereal etc. As for flying w/ the stroller as recommended from a mom that is part of a stroller group I belong to she said to bring a black outside trash bag and that is what I did. We had no trouble when we got to the plane door we just folded it up and stuck it in the bag. I have the bjcm and the quick fold is so easy that it didn't take long it might be a bit longer w/ a different stroller. If you go to www.babyjogger.com you can see a video of the stroller or orlandostroller has the video link on their website b/c they rent them.
