This is what I'm looking for:
A stroller that is light weight, has a canopy, reclines, possible under basket and is reasonably priced.

I need some magic!! :wizard:

What do you consider reasonably priced?

Don't know what your budget is but the Baby Jogger is my favorite stroller EVER!! The City Elite is on clearance at albeebaby.com right now for $269 (normally $399) with free shipping too :-)

I don't know what your price range is, but we have the Maclaren Twin Triumph (double stroller) and LOVE it. I've heard great things about the single version (Maclaren Triumph). You can sometimes find pretty good deals on them, too.

I love our Maclaren Triumph. We bought it specifically for WDW. DS was 4, turning 5, when we were there in 2008. Once he started to walk, he was not a stroller guy, so I had gotten rid of my stroller. I knew he wouldn't be able to make it in WDW. I set a $100 limit for my purchase. I ended up with a brand new in the box 2005 MacClaren Triumph for $75 cost + $25 shipping on ebay. I bought it in the spring of 2008. The only draw back is the small storage area under the seat, but we did fine. I practiced with it over that summer at local amusement parks.

My intention was to resell on ebay when done to recoup some of the $. Well,
we are heading back this year & I will take it again. He will be 6, turning 7 (yes, his birthday adventure!). He may not need it so much, but I'll need it for our junk!

If I had know about MacClaren strollers when he was born, I would have started with their top of the line & never had to buy another.

Another suggestion is to rent one from Orlando Stroller Rental for the week...that is if your needing it for a trip to Disney....they have great prices, high quality strollers to choose from, and so hassle free...:wizard:

I like the Perego Plinko P3 that I bought from www.albeebaby.com

It has a large canopy, extendable handles, basket for storage, reclines, cup holder for parents and child. Doesn't tip with backpack on the handles.

I bought it for my 4.5 yr old niece. She was 42" tall and about 40lbs the first year we were at WDW. We went again the following year and she was over 44" and about 50lbs.

Doesn't exist as far as I can tell. We just keep repairing our One Step Ahead umbrella stroller for DD6. All strollers I can find for kids over 40lbs are at least $100.

I had to Aprica strollers, one full size and one travel size (still reclined completely and had a canopy). They are incredibly light and strong (the full size one I brought to WDW until DS was 9 and DD was 7, so it held a lot).

They aren't cheap, but I got both when DS was a baby, and used them for many trips. They were about $350 each I think, and are both single ones. I really got a lot of use out of them, as one I brought many times to WDW.

I'd look into maybe a used or good deal on that brand, but it's been a few years, maybe they don't make them anymore? They are really worth it.

I'm a bit  and  about the ages of some of those children using buggies - last time we went to Orlando our boys were 5 and 7, and neither of then used (or indeed needed) a stroller! We're hoping to go again this summer and the boys (now aged 8 and 10) will certainly not be using their baby sister's stroller
