My 8 y/o daughter has Asperger's Syndrome and is pretty high functioning. She does have some minor motor issues, which limit her overall endurance, especially at a place like Disney!!!

In the past we have always rented a stroller from Disney to make everyone's day easier. However, with the recent stroller rental cost increases, I wasn't sure if there was a better option for us. Given the fact that she is 8 y/o and 55 lbs, she's already too big for a traditional umbrella stroller or jogger stroller,so those options are out.

Any suggestions of a possible alternative?? :confused3

There are several companies that rent pediatric special needs strollers. If you look in the sticky at the top of the page there you can find the companies. They accommodate larger people. If you want to buy one, people have used Adaptive Mall, I believe, online. There are several really knowledgeable people on here that I'm sure will be chiming in soon. Have a good time!

You pretty well covered it.:thumbsup2
Adaptive Mall is the place. Whether you actually buy it there or not, it's a good place to look and get more information.

Thanks Sue, I guess I've hung around this place so long I've learned a couple of things... :lmao:
