If I rent a stroller in the morning and leave for a midday break, do I have to rent a stroller for the afternoon when we return? What about if we switch parks? Can they be rented before the official opening or do you need to wait until rope drop? What kind of waits are there at the rental desk? Lots of questions - any answers?

You only have to pay for rentals one time a day. Just hold on to your receipt that they give you, and this will get you another stroller at any of the parks for that same day. As far as before the park opens, I can only speak for AK, you have to wait until the park opens. They might do it differently at other parks, but I'm not sure. The wait in AK's stroller area isn't that long, we try to keep the line moving!

We saved a lot of money by buying a fold up, cheap, thin stroller before going to Disney World. It folds up quickly for rides on the transportation system. Its light and easy to carry. It helps you get in the gate faster (go to the entrance points between the ticket counters and they will put you right through).

It really is not a hassle if you have a small fold up stroller and it will save you money in the long run. You can pick up inexpensive ones at Wal-Mart or Target.
