I have a 6 year old and a 3 year old and we are going to WDW at the end of August. We have always taken our own strollers. However I sold our double stroller this year because most of the time it is never used. My 6 year old generally walks. However I know that there is too much walking in WDW for him so we are renting a double stroller (hopefully for the first and only time). I looked on the WDW website and saw that the recognized stroller rental companies are Kingdom, Orlando and Magic Strollers. I've read various reviews on them. If I have to choose one of them, I would probably go with Magic based on what I've read, although I am willing to consider the others. I've also heard of Apple. They are not listed as a recognized rental company on WDW's site but Apple's website says they are. Does anyone know what's up there? And if it's ok to have Apple deliver to my WDW resort, what are people's opinions on them? Thanks for the help!

Orlando Stroller Rentals is the place. I rented from them before. And the woman in the picture answers the phone. How many places can you say that happens. She very pleasant and accommodating.

It her current ad she leaves the stroller at the hotel and you don't have to be present. Which tell you she authorized.

You can find her ad on the bottom of this website. Or I am looking at it as I am typing just above.

Last year we rented from 'Theme Park Strollers' they were WONDERFUL!
Our stroller rolled like a luxury car and was very easy to handle.

We are renting from them again this year because we were so pleased with their service. Some of the best customer service including those employed by Disney.

Magic Strollers, hands down! We've rented a double from them 3 different times and the strollers have been in excellent condition. You can request (in the memo line) to have a rain cover (free).

It is ran by the same people as Owners Locker and as with OL, the service is excellent.

Do any of the stroller rental companies ever offer promo codes while booking online? We are going for a week in Sept

We've rented a double from Orlando Strollers twice now and have had awesome experiences both times. Wonderful customer service, great clean strollers, and super easy. We don't/won't need a double anymore ( :( ) but will likely be renting a single for our next trip and plan to use them again.

Ugh! I am having a hard time justifying renting a stroller but it's the convenience that's drawing me toward it. I've done my homework and got my pricing. For the week it's $80. My Dd is 2.5 and we have a Chicco cortina full size stroller and a Maclaren umbrella/lightweight. For simplicity and convenience we would bring the Maclaren but my daughter will not nap in it because it doesn't have much of an incline. She will however nap in the Chicco if it's reclined but it's SO bulky for a road trip and not to mention it doesn't have a rain cover either. We drive to Disney since it's only 6 hrs. Help!

I agree. The following year I was lured by Apple's very low prices. The Apple stroller was noticeably more worn, but fine. If I were to get a stroller again (which I won't :cool1: and a little  ) I would go back to Orlando.

We have rented from apple twice previously and our strollers were clean and in like new condition. We are renting again from them next month. The price we are paying with insurance is less than half the cost of a rental from the other companies so if the stroller has a little more wear, I am ok with that. I have seen strollers from the other companies in the parks that had quite a bit of wear as well so sometimes I think it's just luck. Btw, apple is wdw authorized for pick up and drop off with bell services.

Thanks for the info on Apple. Anyone know why they aren't listed as WDW approved on their website?

On the apple site they are listed as an approved vendor. Not sure why wdw doesn't list them but I can assure you that they are approved. They are quite popular for scooter rental for wdw as well.

Could you borrow a baby jogger from a friend? They are big and comfortable and roll smoothly but fold with one hand, fairly compactly for a big stroller - much more compactly than a bugaboo. We live in NYC, where nobody ever drives, so our stroller is our "home base" the same ways cars are for families in every other city. We used a baby jogger for years, walking through (I kid you not) snow covered streets and parks during and after major snowstorms that shut the city down, getting in and out of taxis, on and off busses and subways, etc. Maclarens are lighter but baby jiggers are as easy as it gets for the non-umbrella strollers. And no, I don't work for baby jogger!!!!

Ha love the feedback! I rented one to lock in the good price but plan to ask around with some friends who have them and ask about borrowing. I love my Maclaren but I also love the full size for being able to throw bags under the seat and not worry about anything.

Can you tell me what you paid to rent from apple with delivery fees etc? I'm trying to get a quote online but am having trouble
I need a stroller for 2-3 days, looking at the city mini

I rented from Baby Wheels Orlando and paid $68 for a week. There is also a online promo code you can use for 10% off

As the OP, I'm a big fan of Baby Jogger strollers. We have a City Micro that we use for my almost 3 year old. However at this stage of life, we don't need to own a double. My 6 year old walks in most places. However WDW is different and I think he will be worn out from all the walking. So we will rent this trip.

I used Baby Wheels last year and was going to use them again but when I called the girl who handled my reservation last year and all my crazy questions about Disney, she said she no longer works for them and I needed to call the 800 number for info. After talking to her ( for about an hour) I was hesitant on calling them but decided to anyway. Well no one answered the 9 times I called. No option for a voicemail or anything. I opted to go with Kingdom Strollers which I am glad that I did. I called the young lady back and told her I couldnt get a hold of anyone, and she didnt seem surprised. I would be careful if you have a stroller reserved as I am sensing they are going out of business.

Ack.. I just made my resv and I based mine off personal recommendation. I am nervous now about it. Has anybody else had problems with babywheels?

When I made my reservation with Kingdom, they told me they had been getting several calls regarding it and that also with the Disney procedures, I guess they are charging for Disney resorts now. IDK specifics, but I also have a friend who tried calling again today and nothing. I wrote a yelp review and the owner responded saying she checked phone records and their was not a record of my number but funny thing is I didn't give my number so how could she tell?? All is kind of fishy to me, glad I decided to go with someone else that has great reviews and no issues lol so hopefully ( fingers crossed) our vacation is magical

The price difference for me was a matter of something like $11 so may go ahead and cancel my resv and book with Kingdom
