Does DL have single and Double strollers for rent? What is the per day price?

Thanks
Vickie

Only single strollers for rent at DL. I'm not quite sure what the rental price is because, for the last two years we've gotten free stroller rentals with our Disney Visa, but I think it's around $9 per day.

$10/day.

If you know you're going to need a stroller for more than one day, do the multi-day rental. You do not save money, but you pay for it all up front and they give you slips for each day in a little manilla envelope. So after the first day, you do not wait in the long line anymore! Saves you time.

You just take one of the slips (and possibly your receipt, I'm not sure) and go straight to the people in control of the strollers, hand over your receipt, and they give you a stroller. If you bring the nametag thing from the first day, it's even quicker (but they are more than happy to make you a new one if you didn't).

With the Disney Visa you get 2 free stroller rentals per day. Otherwise it's $10.00.

Here's ds in his DL stroller last year.

Jessica52877, I think your guy's older than my guy, so here's a bigger kid in the same strollers. Sorry for the angle and I'm embarrassed that my kid will turn *anything* into a "blaster".

Mine too will turn anything into a blaster! He is actually quite alot bigger then my siggy. He just turned 5. I am leaning toward not bringing one but he still naps everyday and when at DW he naps in the stroller. I have the disney visa though, so thought I could grab one if needed. The hotel to the park walk is what I am more concerned about. He is used to being in his stroller and likes it.

Where are you staying? Because of the hotel thing at DLR, with the exception of GCH, I plan on bringing our own stroller until DS is, well, I don't know how old. :) It drives DH nuts to have the stroller when DS is walking around, but I'm the one DS wants to carry him (and having female hips makes it easier for me to carry him) back to the hotel at night, and it just hurts to carry a 36 lb, 40+" tall kid that far. So it's the hotel part that really counts for me.

By the way, this was my guy when he was 2, just before a hairstylist got rid of his curls against our wishes...picture I loved that era of long curls like your guy in the sign pic. :)

We tried to put our 5 year old in our jeep stroller and it is a no go for her. She is to big for it. We love to bring it for the storage. Do the rentals have storage under them? I hope my daughter will fit. How long is the wait in the morning to get one. I have a monkey back pack leash for her but don't know if she can handle all the walking. The walk at night will be quick. We are at Desert Inn.

There is storage underneath. I must warn you to not leave anything in them. Many leave all sorts of items and have no problems, but we left a brand new pirate hat fully underneath an old baseball cap and a yuck sweatshirt, and the pirate hat was stolen. The CMs made it right the next day, when DS told them about it, but they didn't have to, and just the fact that we had something stolen tarnishes our September trip.

The wait in the morning can be long. See my post earlier about the multi-day deal, to save you time. I bet you could ask if your daughter could try a stroller, before wasting time in renting on the first day...

We are staying at the Howard Johnson. I wasn't concerned with choosing that one since I had originally planned on the stroller. Then I kept thinking do I really need it! BUT I think I will bring it now, because you are so right. I am the one that is going to be carrying him and if he hasn't napped then he'll be even worse, so if we stick with our usual, have the stroller tell him to nap we should be fine.

Thanks for the warning about leaving stuff in them, I am used to always leaving our jackets in them for sure but I'll double think that now. I am sure I actually leave way too much on the stroller at most times!

Love his curls. His hair looks about the same colors at DS5, maybe a little redder, seems as mine has grown it isn't quite as red, although the longer it gets the blonder it seems.
