Stroller rental question

Does anyone have any suggestions on renting a stroller? Since were staying at the DLH, we will probably use the monorail to go back and forth with the exception of rope drop when we will enter thru main gates. As I understand it, you can drop off a stroller and get another one at any time as long as you keep your receipt. Would we have to take the stroller back to the rental place (which I believe is near the main entrance) before taking the monorail back to DLH or could we just leave it by the monorail station in tomorrow land? Idea being a CM would eventually take it back or maybe we luck out and it's still there when we return.

Anyone with stroller rental experience who relies on monorail To get back to DLH have any suggestions?

I just got most of my answer from the "unofficial guide to Disneyland". It doesn't appear that you do need to return the previous stroller to get a new one as people regularly lose or get their stroller stollen. They even mentioned a good tip about marking the stroller with a bandanna or personal item tied around the handle as it would lower the chance of it getting snagged. Good idea!

Now I just need to find a good place to leave it for when we head back to the hotel for swim/nap time. Does the tomorrowland monorail station have a stroller hold area? If not, I guess Nemo would be close by.

We rented a double from Anaheim city strollers a couple years ago when we stayed at DLH. Yes you can take it on the monorail folded up. Their strollers fold up very easily - we used to have a city jogger of our own.

The good thing about bringing your own stroller or renting from outside the park is that you can bring it back to the room at the end of the night and you have it for the walk to the gates in the morning. Even with taking the monorail, you'll still have a bit of a walk.

I would highly recommend that you rent from city strollers. We usually stay at DLH and We rented from the park our first trip-- what a nightmare. We couldn't leave the park with the stroller, had to return it every evening to the place outside the entrance gate (before bag check) when we left...leaving us with that long walk back to DLH. I wouldn't feel comfortable about leaving the stroller at the park overnight.

Our second trip, we brought our own stroller and then took the monorail back to the hotel. You absolutely can take a stroller on the monorail. In the mornings it was so much easier to put our LO into the stroller and walk down DTD to get into the parks in time for rope drop.

Lots of good reviews about city strollers tho if you can't bring your own.

I would....this will be our 3rd time using them and it is great. Drop off and pickup to the hotel and the strollers are MUCH better than the DL ones. They fold up easy for monorail and the walk trough DTD or to the Monorail is longer than it may seem at the end of the day. Our daughter is 6 and we still use a double stroller....helps avoid meltdowns in the heat and it gives a good nap spot if they fall asleep ;)

How big is it compared to Disney's? I have a feeling our tall, seven year old may want one too, especially at the end of the day.

City Strollers has options to choose from. We rented the City Mini, which is what we use at home. It was $55 for 6 days, and was so convenient! Normally we bring our own, but we were traveling for 2 more weeks after Disneyland, and did not need a stroller for the rest of our trip. While we were at Disneyland, we saw a ton of strollers also rented from City Strollers. :)
