My son is about 42" (about 40 lbs). It says this stroller will hold up to 50 lbs so that isn't a problem but what about the height? Even though he's in the 25% for his age (both height and weight) he's a solid kid and people seldom perceive him to be smaller than "average".

This is the stroller that magicstrollers.com carries and I love that it has a nice big hood as my son has sensory integration disorder and it helps to have something he can open and shut at his discretion when crowds etc start to bother him.

Since we are going on the cruise before WDW we really don't want to haul his stroller with us from home...

I am willing to look at other rental companies if necessary but I did like the price ($15 first day $8 each additional) and I respect OwnersLocker and they are the owners of magicstrollers.

I would think that it would be fine, but I would imagine that if you called them they could tell you how tall the back is and how many inches the seat is from the ground ( so that he will not have to sit with his knees to his chin)

I wonder if Babies R Us carries this brand? If so I could go there with DS one day and actually put him in it! It's not super close to us, but not a total deal breaker either - but about 30 miles each way... ugh

Anyone remember ever seeing this model at BRU? (I did see it online, but they often have things online that are not in the stores)

hi my son was 42" last trip and we used the citi mini double. he fit fine height wise. not a lot of room to spare, but not uncomfortable either

This site lists the measurements of the Baby Jogger City Mini stroller.
Seat Back
19.75"
Hip to Knee
9.25"
Knee to Foot
9"

If this is not going to work for you, the disABILITIES FAQs thread has some companies listed that rent special needs strollers, which are larger. The information is in post #2 of that thread and there is a link to the disABILITIES FAQs thread in my signature.

Try OrlandoStrollerRentals.com They have the original Baby Jogger and it goes up to 75 pounds. They also carry the special needs stroller. HTH!:)

We rented the City Mini stroller in September, and it was totally fine for my son. He was 43" and 43# at the time. I'm going to rent it again for our trip in April.
