Stroller Recommendations

It's time for us to buy a new single stroller. If anyone has any recommendations for me; I'd love to hear them. Here are some of my requirements

*I don't like umbrella strollers or any stroller that the handle bars sit low.
*I would like a tray for my kiddo and for me.
*I'm not big into the jogging strollers, because of the large wheels, and we'll be travelling with it (although not to Disney, we have a sit-n-stand for that)
*It needs to have a decent shade cover.
*I also need a good size basket underneath to store stuff.

Okay, any recommendations???

I love my Peg Perego Aria. It has a nice tray for your kiddo but only a cup holder for you. The basket underneath is very spacious and accessible. It weighs less than 8 pounds it is a one hand collapse and set up. I can even hold my 18 month DD while putting it into my trunk and collapsing it.

can you give us some info on the rider b/c of the bat I would recommend the baby jogger city mini or even the valco/tfk buggster. also do you have a price range.

neither of these are jogging strollers but they do have three wheels. what about the umbrella strollers don't you like the lack of a snack tray or the style.

The rider is my DD (just turned 2.) I'd like to not spend too much money (hoping around $100-$150 range.) The reason I don't like umbrella strollers are mainly because of the short height (handles) of most, the lack of snack tray for kiddo and no tray for me, and they usuaully don't have much storage space. I'm okay with 3 wheels, I'm just worried about the size of the wheels (don't want them too large.) Thanks so much for the advice so far!

the city mini wheels are just a bit bigger than the mac strollers they are just big enoungh to make the push easier on grass and bumpy areas. You can get accessories for the mini snack tray, parent console and more. The cheapest you can get it right now is about 185 shipped but that doesn't include the accessories. The mac quest might be a good option for you in the price you want to spend it is an umbrella style stroller but the quality is worth it and you can purchase a snack tray for it off of ebay you can get a parent organizer for it as well for around 15 dollars the best cupholder for it IMO is the valco baby universal cupholer. These strollers are made for taller people and the both offer a 50-65 pound weight limit.


I took a look on albeebaby.com and I did find this one from graco but can't vouch for the height although I am sure it isn't the same as a cheapy umbrella.

this is the cheapest mac quest I found on ebay. you can get decent accessories for it from walmarts website or maybe even in target, TRU, BRU if you have one near you.

I love the Perego P3 I bought last year for my niece who was almost 5 and over 42".

It has a huge sun shade and a tray for the child, a cup holder for the adult (I added a Jolly Jumper holder across the handles for more storage). The handles extend and it reclines.

Thanks for finding those. I really like the one from albeebaby, and the price is nice too I'll have to do some looking to see if I can find a height, but it doesn't look too low, thanks again!

How about a Graco Quattro, Vie4, or Passage? They have both parent/kid trays, LOTS of storage, and high handles. It's our mainstay stroller.

I know a lot of people on here are anti-Graco, but I really like ours. Sure I'm thinking about getting something lighter and more compact for quick trips in other peoples' cars, but I do love our Graco and it's actually coming to Disney with us again.

We have a Peg Aria - bought it for our Disney trip last year when DS was 17 mos. We're bringing it to WDW again next week! It's a great stroller, lightweight, easy to fold, snack tray, canopy, and storage.

I got mine at albeebaby last year. I got a 2007 model on sale for about $100.

This looks like the latest model of the one we used for years at WDW Its light enough to carry in one hand It has a great basket and canopy. The trays snap on and off, so your child can eventually climb in and out himself, no problem. And the price is great.

Peg Perego Pliko P3. We also bought ours brand new on albeebaby.com last Spring for 1/2 price because it was a 2007 model. It came out to $170. We love it and DD does not mind being in it at all. In fact, she naps in it quite often so it must be comfy
