Hi, I am hoping that someone can help me out with choosing a stroller for my son. Up until now we have been using a sit and stand because we also have a DD3 but with Ben being 70 pounds now it is a beast to push, even when he is in it alone. I've been doing some research online and the 2 that stand out are the Maclaren Major and the Adavnce Mobility Liberty stroller. If anyone can give any advice on which they use and prefer I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

When Joshua was younger we used a MacLaren Major. With the sunshade we found it ideal for Florida holiday's.
If it suits your needs I can recommend it.

We love the Maclaren. It folds so nicely and is sooo light compared to other strollers. You have to remove the shade (if you get it) and the foot rest before you fold it so it can bit a bit of a hassle if you want to fold it and carry it for a while. Otherwise it's a great large stroller and is easy to push. We saw several of them over the summer when we were in Orlando and all the kids seemed very comfortable.

If there is a medical reason for it you may be able to get it covered through insurance. It will probably mean a lot of paperwork and some hoops to jump through but you may have time to get it before you leave for WDW again. Just an option if you need it.

We had a Maclaren for my dd also, and the stroller itself is great, very sturdy and easy to manuver. However.... I hated the fact that you had to take the sun shade and foot plate off/on every time you needed to fold it!! My dd cannot walk, so every appt, mall trip, car trip etc, this would add up. Now that she is older, I am doing the same with her wheelchair (no lift for the van yet) And boy do I miss the stroller days! :rotfl:
Just some food for thought, and the very positive side to this stroller is its weight! And also size when folded. Those are my pros and cons. HTH! :goodvibes

I have the advance mobility Liberty and love it because it doesn't look like a chair but more like a stroller on steroids. It has a big basket underneath, a small cooler for drinks, a huge sunshade and it folds up beyond easy.

It is expensive but worth every penny.
