I need help deciding on a stroller for an 18 month old and a 5 year old? I'm torn between a true double stroller, a singer stroller with a seat on back for the 5 year old, or two umbrella strollers? Advice please! :) Thanks!!

For our 7 and 3 year old we are going with a double stroller so that one parent can take care of pushing the stroller and other parent can take care other things e.g. during boarding the bus one takes care of stroller and other can hold hands of kids.....as recommended on this board we found oralandostrollers.com as most reasonably priced....we are going with their summit x3 stroller.

Thank you! :) We actually have 3 teenagers, so pushing strollers isn't an issue.

My sons are 5 and 18 months, and we just took them for their first trip last week. We rented a double City Mini, and it worked perfectly for us. It was so easy to fold down when we needed it to, and both kids were comfy enough that they fell asleep in it a couple of times. It was also very easy to use, it actually felt less cumbersome than our single Graco that we have at home.

We rented a city Mini double from kingdom strollers. It was worth it for my 4yo and 2.5yo and we are Renton it again this year. One person holds the kids while other takes kids on the bus. If you had 2 single strollers it's more of a hassle. And if you find yourself alone with the kids and stroller the cast members and bus drivers will always help you :)

I am actually torn on this issue as well. When we go in October, DD will be 5 and our second DD will be 6 months. Although I am not buying a double stroller for home since DD5 never uses one anymore, I know that Disney is a whole other story and has so much more walking and being on the small side will probably get tired easily. Right now I am thinking of bringing a single stroller and a front pack, so that if DD5 wants to sit in the stroller for a while i can wear DD6months. But the more I think about it, the more I think renting a double stroller will be a better option. I do think that 2 single strollers would be too much work as you need to be able to carry both of them on and off the buses. 2 kids and 2 strollers does not sound like fun to me.

We use our baby trend sit n stand and it works out great! We've taken it the last 3 trips, our kids are now 3 & 6 years old. First used it when they were 12 months & 4 years old. The front seat reclines back for the little one & has a sun shade & the older one can use when needs a break from walking & it has good storage underneath fir diaper bag & souviners!

We have a 1 and 5 year old and are renting a double Baby Jogger City mini for our trip in March. I feel that the sit n stand type strollers are harder to maneuver and don't offer the older child much if any sun protection.
