Stroller Question

This may sound like a dumb question, but I was wondering if anyone had any problems bringing their own stroller to the parks. Basically, what I'm saying is... has anyone had a problem with their stroller being stolen (while they've been on a ride). Am I just a negative person? Should I be worried? We just purchased a smaller stroller to take to the parks. It still cost over $100 so obviously I'm a bit worried.

I appreciate any input you may have.

Although Erich is 11 and no longer in a stroller ,we took many, many trips while he was in one. I never, ever had a problem. We even left stuff in the stroller while on a ride and never had anything touched.

I really don't think you need to worry!! :flower:

We took our double stroller in may and had no problem. I did carry a shoulder bag that held all our stuff that I kept with me when we left our stroller. You have to leave your stroller at many attractions and so does everyone else. Sometimes the cm's will move them around a little. The one thing I learned: If it looks at all like rain throw a poncho over the whole thing because chances are the sheltered spot you find for it will not be the place the cm wants it parked. I hope this helps. Oh I also tied a baloon on our stroller because I heard about accidental thefts of strollers. You will be surprised how many of "your" strollers you see.

We brought our own once ( I prefer to rent). The only problem was that someone took our, and left theirs which was just like it. I knew it wasn't ours because ours had a small rip in the seat. We waited around a while, then just took the one that was left. So follow the advice of many who post on these boards, leave something to identify the stroller as yours, a balloon, a small bag with unimportant things, etc.

I perfer to rent for the small cost it was well worth not worrying about having my own there

My DS is 5 yo and I have never had a problem. This year will be the 1st we will rent, he doesn't fit in our stroller anymore. I usually bring a small lunchbox and leave a bag with extra set of clothes and have in the bottom of our stroller and have never had a problem. The poncho is a good idea too. We had lunch at the CP one day and it poured while we were inside. We forgot about the stroller and it was soaking wet. Don't worry about bringing stroller you won't regret it when you walk past all the lines of people waiting to rent.
