Can you bring double strollers into the gift shops? Silly question I know!

Has any strollers ever got stolen?

Are there lots of stroller parking places around?

Strollers in gift shops are a bad idea (I would think not allowed), but there is stroller parking EVERYWHERE. I know that there is an issue with people taking the generic Disney rental strollers that don't belong to them (they all look alike), but I've never had a problem with people messing with my personal strollers. I've taken strollers (including a double) three times to Disney, and other than the cast members moving them within a stroller parking area (to better organize), no one has touched either my stroller, or the bags attached to my stroller.

Disney is a pretty stroller-friendly place.

As far as I can remember a double stroller fit in most gift shops.

I'm sure strollers get stolen. I'd like to think it isn't on purpose. Mark yours clearly with something b/c CMs move them.

There are designated stroller parking areas. If you do not put your stroller there, it will get moved by a CM to the area. And when you do park there, keep in mind CMs move them down the row as spots fill to make more room for more strollers.

There have certainly been reports here of strollers being stolen, so if you have a very expensive model, you might want to look into some kind of stroller lock. Just be sure that the CM's will be able to move your stroller even with the lock on or they'll cut it off.

We're way past the stroller stage so perhaps someone else will chime in with better advice on that.

As for the shops, they are often cramped and crowded so a double-wide stroller would not only be tough to maneuver, but highly annoying to other shoppers.

We took our double stroller into gift shops without any problems. In almost every case, there was plenty of room to manuver. On the few occasions where there wasn't enough space, we just turned around and exited.

But we walked all the shops up and down Main Street and the ones in HS as well.

Great advice. We bought a chain bike lock for our stroller. We just put it through the front wheel though, and never lock it to a stationary object. We do it so the CM's can easily move the stroller if need be, but makes it inconvienent to would be thieves.
