Anyone else have a stroller collection? I don't know why but I LOVE strollers and I buy a new one every so often. Mind you, I hit craigslist or consignments sales. But right now I have
1 umbrella stroller
1 medium size stroller
1 pram
1 sit and stand
1 double jogging stroller
1 single jogging stroller
1 large stroller

That's all I will admit to anyway. :upsidedow

Anyone else share my passion? How big is your collection? What's you favorite? Where do you get your new additions?

Well, I have 3 strollers and no kids!

I have a double Perego Stroller that I use for the daycare.
Then I bought a small single stroller to take my niece to DL.
Then last year I bought a Perego P3 for my niece when we went to WDW as she was too big for the other one.

The double is the only one I bought second hand through Craigslist. The small one I keep in my car, it was $20.

I do love strollers. It's kinda silly to me, but they each serve a different purpose and I enjoy that. :) We don't have as many, though, just
1 single umbrella stroller
1 single fullsize stroller
1 single jogger
1 sit & stand
1 double jogger
and I'm currently looking for a double umbrella style for our next WDW trip. :) That would be 6 total. That's not crazy, right? ;) And hopefully after the double umbrella, we should be good... the kids will get older and outgrow the need for strollers. Then we'll hopefully craigslist them back! :)

Sniff, sniff, those days are over. I had 11 in all - a pram, a peg perego single, a grace double, 2 double joggers, a perego triple, a combi double, a single snap and go, a double snap and go, a cheap umbrella - okay, I'm missing a couple, but it's early. I've found that you need different types of strollers for different needs - there is no stroller that's perfect for all situations.

Please show this thread to my DH!! I get "the talk" constantly about my strollers!!

I just bought off ebay a Peg Perego P3 for our trip in Decemeber. I own the Evenflo big one that fits the car seat, a Peg Perego Aria ($20 at a garage sale!!) that was my favorite until this last growth spurt, Single jogging stroller that is my favorite in the summer and the Chicco Capri lightweight one for trips to the mall or just to keep handy in the car

DH was NOT happy about the P3 purchase. He will be after we get to WDW!!

Nope.I had 2 and hated both and was glad when she outgrew them.We only have one child and have no need for them anymore.

We have 4 strollers:

1 cheapo umbrella stroller
1 Jeep umbrella stroller
1 Kolcraft 3-wheel stroller (looks like a jogger, but it's not)
1 Maclaren Twin triumph

yes, it is a disease... with four children all two years apart... they are deff. part of our daily life, (we walk everywhere- schools, grocery library, children's museum)...
12 ish... 4 in regular use

Have you ever thought of a 12 step program:lmao:?

Sorry, but I am the opposite here....hated them when my daughter was in them, and could not wait to toss it! Now that she is 5, she looks at older kids in strollers and says - "what are they doing in a stroller, Mom?"

Sorry....just a levity. But seriously, you all have a lot of strollers!

3 kids and 4 strollers later, I found that I have a passion for decorating strollers. Lights, hidden Mickey's, I even added a Mickey Light saber to one of them. I once took a single and transformed it into a double. So I guess that makes 5.:lmao: The really sad thing is, I don't do it for everyday use, I just do it for our trips to WDW. I call it my therapy when I am working on them:rotfl:

I'm on the tailend of the addiction since my girls are getting older, but here's what the collection contained...

1 jogging stroller
1 umbrella stroller
1 medium stroller
1 double stroller

If I had my way, we'd have a rocking double for WDW trips and a double umbrella. Hubby thinks I'm nuts.

1 carseat/stroller combo - gone
1 small basket stroller
2 umbrella strollers
1 double jogging stroller (converts to bike trailer)
1 carseat basket stroller to replace the first one
1 sit and stand

Carseat/stroller combo - recently gave away the stroller part b/c newer seats won't fit in it (I think it was $120 with the carseat way back when) (threw out carseat)

smaller stroller with basket for things like zoo trips (takes up less room in car) - fairly inexpensive

2 Pooh umbrella strollers that we connected for DW (connecting didn't work out that great) $14 each

1 jogging stroller/bike stroller - DH thought he would use this a lot but we only use it a couple of times a year - at least it was on clearance. It fits 2 kids so I guess that is a double. ??

1 stroller that fits a baby carseat to replace the one that wouldn't fit - we bought a less expensive one but still (headed for stroller overload by now)

1 sit and stand stroller bought for DW - LOOOOVE it - great stroller - and got a good deal

Hopefully we we're done with buying strollers even though we have a ? coming in the future.

I'm totally curious about this... do you have pictures? :)

I have a weakness for them I can't help it! I think we're hovering around 13 now the entire 1/2 stall of the garage is full .
I'll have to think a minute...
1-Peg Venezia (mathcing car seat)
2-Peg P3 (used just for travel when we only had 1 & held the Navetta)
3-Mac Quest (KS version the bag is so cute)
4-Bugaboo
5-Mac Quest (to use for airport travel)
6-cheap umbrella some one gave us that we could toss
7-Orbit travel system then turned into stroller & bassinet
8-Double Tandem
9-Double Peg Aria
9-Single jogger
10-Double carriage type
11-Phil & Ted's Sport w/doubles kit for WDW
12-Double jogger

I guess 12 DH said he thought 13 the other day, maybehtat means i can get 1 more he wouldn't notice ;):rotfl2:

LOL! I take it none of you live in a condo downtown in a big city. 1 and only 1 stroller for us --- space is a premium.

LOL thought I was crazy!!! I still love strollers, my DD is almost 6 and has a wheelchair/stroller now. I have a pink stroller/carseat combo still in box (hoping for grands soon, have 2 older married sons), have or have had many strollers. I still will use the double stroller (a graco from 2002, a magnificent piece of work) for shopping at Christmastime, DD can ride in it for a while, and there is room for lots of stuff in the front seat and underneath big basket space. Love love love my strollers. My dream is a peg perego someday!!

I've been through a lot of strollers, but now I'm down to 3 - 1 phil and ted's vibe w/doubles kit and 2 maclarens (1 quest and 1 ryder)

Now, don't ask me about my baby carrier collection :rotfl2:

I'm totally curious about this... do you have pictures? :)

Here is a pic of the single stroller that was turned into a double w/ lights.
This was taken at Epcot during Illuminations.
I call this a Spectromagified stroller.:lmao:
I will try and find the pics of the hidden Mickey's

i here this.
We have 4people in a 1 bedrm walk up in nyc. 2kids, my oldest is 5. We have only ever had 3 strollers total and used them one at a time.
1- snap n go used with infant carseat
2- maclaren quest- and when that died we got #3
3- another maclaren quest

Although I do remember buying a few different strollers with DD10, my true stroller obsession really kicked into overdrive just before ever even conceiving our second DD who is now 3.

I had joined the Yahoo group, Stroller Swap, and bought a stroller for the next baby a full year before even having her. LOL At that time, our only "baby" was our then 5 1/2 year old DD!

Since DD3 has come along, we have owned:

Maclaren Quest Mod
Maclaren Quest Sport
Peg Perego P3 in Black Sable (our WDW stroller when DD was 3 months old)
Peg Perego P3 in Metallica (our WDW stroller when DD was 15 months old)
Fisher Price Infant to Toddler
Baby Jogger City Mini (our current WDW stroller)
Cheapie Umbrella Stroller
Zooper Zydeco
I'Coo Infinity in Hot Pink
Chicco 6WD
Quinny Zapp in Lime Green
Peg Perego Domani

We still have all of these EXCEPT the 2 Macs and the 2 Pegs. Actually the Quest Sport was still new in the box and the Quest Mod was barely used but I just didn't totally feel the Mac love. :confused3 I did love the Peg P3's but wanted to try something different but now regret getting rid of those.

I just really love strollers and there are still so many out there that I want to try out!! We tend to use the Baby Jogger and Quinny Zapp the most depending on the situation. Currently, the Zapp is folded under the Dining Room table and the Zydeco is in the downstairs bathroom while the Baby Jogger sits in the kitchen. I also had the Infinity in the kitchen but that was just brought upstairs with the rest of the strollers. Yes, a lot but we do use a few of them and the others will hopefully be used again when another baby comes along.
