Stroller Parking

Hi Guys! Here is my question - I really want to let the kids walk as much as possible - but they are three and four so I know we will be needing a stroller occasionally....my kids are going to be on "leashes" when walking because I can't take the chance of them running off if I turn my head for a second (lost daughter at Boston Children's Museum for half an hour and almost died!) and normally I would just let DH push the stroller or vice versa - but I think that he is going to be on an ECV most of the time....so is there a place I can park the stroller until we need it? Or should I leave it in the car?

There are designated stroller parking areas around all the parks. We tend tonpark in one place do the rides in that area, hop in and move on. Often the cm will consolidate the strollers so in yours isn't where you left it , look around. Take your valuables with you though. You can also park the ECv I your husband wants to walk. Jut take the key

Thanks!!! Great to know! I am going to bring a bike lock for the back tires and a a florescent placard to put on the stroller when we are not around - same wth the ECV - matching so we will know they are ours, lol!

Just don't lock the stroller or ECV to anything other than itself.

Exactly because they can, and sometimes will, break the lock. They need to be able to move your stroller and most often it will be moved from where you left it. Honestly, I wouldn't put a hard lock on the back wheels unless they can still roll with it on because the cast members have to move them and it would be awful to make them lift yours. Chances are it would get dragged. Always make sure its in a designated stroller spot! You'd be amazed at the people who think they are ok to park the stroller right in front of the attraction they are on. Those strollers are hard to find once moved!!

You can run a bike lock through the front wheels. The CMS can tip it up and move it a few feet, but the thief will also have to steal it with the wheels up.

You don't need locks. What you do need is neon masking tape. Wrap it on the handle. CMs will move the stroller while you are gone and you want to be able to easily spot it across a hundred strollers.

While theft can happen anywhere we have never seen locked strollers anywhere..seriously no where ...WDW, Legoland, Disneyland, etc. You do need to be able to see it.

I would park it by one of the train stops, this way if you need it and your on the otherside of the park you can just hop on the train.

With children that young I think you will be using the stroller more than you realize. You can park your stroller in any of the designated spots and come back for it later. However, do not leave anything of value in it, and if the stroller itself is valuable, go ahead and lock the front wheels together. There is no one watching over the strollers, the CMs have no idea which stroller belongs to what family.

THANK YOU - i know we will definitely need it - but I know the kids are not going to sit in it for long - especially on the first day there - there is so much to consider for everything, lol
