stroller or no?

Our kids didn't use them at age four but it depends on the child. My husband hated maneuvering strollers around crowds and refused to bring them. They were troopers and never whined or fussed but did fall asleep when we would see some of the shows

Without a doubt. Bring a smaller umbrella stroller with you. They are easy to maneuver in a crowded park.

yes! at some point he will need it, and unless you don't mind renting one at Disney, bring one.

Another yes! We have a 4.5 & 6 yr. old that still get strollers at WDW. As @NeedMoreMickey stated there's no way you want to have to carry a child around WDW in the heat. :scared: Also the child may fall asleep in the stroller which may save a trip back to your resort for a nap. Then there's the aspect of keeping your child out of the path of all the throngs of people who traverse the parks in a willy nilly fashion--even the adults! Besides, you can keep some stuff in the stroller or hanging off of the handles. :earsboy: We rented strollers from a place called Magic Strollers (I think) and they were awesome! They drop them at your resort and the quality was superb. :earsboy:

A Stroller is a mobile HQ or Basecamp! Its a definite yes.... even if you don't have kids! haha ;o)

We plan on using the stroller until the kids can't fit! Actually probably until they are six, we actual still keep ours for Disney use only.

So happy to see this thread. We have an October trip planned and my 5 year old is so happy she will have a stroller. I have been looking into renting, but thinking about buying one to keep for other trips. We have been pricing at 2nd hand stores, Walmart and even Target. Jeep makes one that is $45 this week at Target and looks to be a step up from an umbrella, what I like is it is bigger, folds down, has a basket...but it fold down just as small as an umbrella. Babies R Us even had one with a strap that you can carry once you fold it up. My daughter is having a blast sitting in them and testing them out. So my answer is YES!!! Take a stroller.

We got plenty of use out of ours with a 3 and 7yo. Many times we left it in the large stroller corrals while we wandered, but it was nice as a storage area and when little legs gave out. It also helped when we were trying to get somewhere efficiently, like an ADR.

Depends on the four year old. We didn't with our four year old twins because hubby hated pushing a stroller around in crowds and they were fine. And we went from EMH to fireworks! They fell asleep in the shows in the afternoon and other than that they were having so much fun that they never complained about walking and never asked to be carried. They were real troopers. Though we got rid of the stroller when they turned two so they were used to walking at amusement parks, hikes, boardwalks etc. It depends on your child and what they are accustomed to.

Yes!! Not only for when they get tired, but also to shade them from sun and a bonus you can use it for your bags when they aren't in it...sometimes they can be a pain getting through the crowds but I definitely think it's worth the hassle.
