Hi! Can anyone help me out? I was wondering if we can take our umbrella stroller on the railroad (the one that goes around MK). We read that you can't bring strollers on, but I'm wondering if they just mean the rentals. Anyone fold up their umbrella strollers and bring them on?

Thanks!

I've seen plenty of folded up wheechairs and strollers on the trains. I would guess they just mean open strollers.

Yes, as long as you fold it up. Obviously, the Disney rental strollers wouldn't work.

Funny story, one year while riding the train, my husband was loosely holding our stroller and our then 1 year old gave it a good kick and it went flying off the train! The CM radioed the next train and they were kind enough to stop and pick it up, while we waited at the station.

Yes, we always fold up our umbrella stoller and bring it on the Railroad. I think they mean the big rental ones.

We were at MK in Feb and got on the train in Fantasyland. There were 3 teenagers in the row of seats in front of us. As we were pulling out they started shouting to friends who were just outside of the platform in another language (maybe spanish or something like that?) Anyway....I guess they decided to go back and join their friends, but instead of waiting until the next stop they decided they would just jump off the train! The first two made it with minor stumbles but the last girl had on flipflops and was a little bigger and she totally crashed and burned on landing - major roadrash I am thinking, and she came within about an inch of falling headfirst into a light standard. Anyway, the conductor was kinda yelling and they pulled the emergency stop but the kids had taken off. Everyone else on the train was kindof in shock that these kids could be do dumb - they could have been seriously hurt. Anyway, interesting things you can see at WDW! :earseek: :paw:

Yes...I learned this from a WDW Railroad employee on another discussion board..so it comes straight from the horses mouth. You can take your own strollers on the railroad(folded up of course), but rented strollers are not allowed.
