Our WDW trip in late September will be our very first with a toddler. Due to this, we will be renting strollers throughout the trip. We would like to find a way to "mark" the stroller so it will be easier to spot on our way out of rides if everyone rides. I've looked at different ribbon but haven't found anything truly distinct and not so girly. I'm sure many of you have done something like this as well so if you're willing to share your ideas, I'd be greatly appreciative!

And to all who reply, a :mickeybar for you!

The easiest way to mark your stroller is to bring an old bandana or other large square of cotton fabric in a bright color. The extra benefit is that you have a cloth/rag to wipe up any spills or raindrops, etc. The other thing to know is that when you rent the stroller, you'll get your last name written on a big "certificate" that goes right on the stroller -- so, even if you don't mark the stroller (which is still a good idea for the quick indentification) your stroller WILL still be identified as yours.

We tie lime green curly ribbon to our stroller handle. It not only identifies us as DISers but it makes the stroller easy to spot in a line-up. pirate:

I bought bright orange fabric ( a yard of it I think) and cut into strips. I tied one to the stroller and the others to our black luggage to easily identify at the airport. I store the strips in the suitcases so i always have them ready for the next trip.

Yeah, I'm aware of that..........but also aware that there are normally multiple strollers lined up and want something that will help us get to ours a little more quickly.

Thanks for the ideas!!!

I made a luggage tag with our family name and resort (and of course a picture of Mickey!), had it laminated and tied it to the handle with a lof of bright colored curling ribbon

We used to use those neon colored zip ties. Put a few on the handlebars and bring nail clippers to cut them off before returning it.

I went to our local dollar store and got a horrible looking bandana and tied that to one of the handles of the stroller. It had pictures of money all over it. The granddaughter referred the stroller as "the money mover".

What is the cost of renting a stroller? I am not going to bring one down but just in case they poop out and I end up renting one. thanks

We'd take a plastic grocery bag from a local market. It was big, white, and had the name of a store that is not common. In it went little things (kleenex, raisins, juice boxes) that we could use, but if they went missing, it really didn't matter. HTH

I didn't come up with this; it's from an earlier post, but I think it's hilarious. If you're easily grossed out, I recommend you skip the rest of my post. :crazy2:

Bring a clean baby diaper, pour a can of soda in it, and tie it in a plastic bag to the handle of your stroller. This should guarantee your stroller will be both identifiable and NOT stolen.

(Personally, I think adding a miniature Baby Ruth bar would complete the effect.)

I had planned on just using a scarf or bandana the last time we were there, but while in Target (luggage section), they had these bright colored travel handle covers on sale for $1, regularly about $4. They are meant to go over suitcase handles and just velcro on. I put them on the stroller handles. It made it so easy to spot our stroller. And so different from everyone else--the sea of bandanas was almost the same as the sea of rentals.

I used to use the fake dirty diaper trick, and it worked like a charm. My stroller was always there. That was a suggestion I found in Birnbaum's guide, btw. Most people don't mark their strollers with anything other than the nametag, so it doesn't take wild creativity to accomplish the objective. Something I've done in the past was make our own nametag (something humorous) on the computer and use that instead of their tag. It stands out enough for easy stroller ID.

Buy a mylar balloon on your first park day and tie it to your stroller. You will spot your stroller very easily, and the balloon won't deflate during your trip. Before you leave to head home, you can deflate the balloon, or (even better) give it to another child.

In late September, it probably won't be so crowded, so almost anything you do will get the stroller noticed, even if there are a lot.

Get a fluorescent orange or green card about 4 x 6 and put on it in big print a 3 digit number of your choice. Place this in the pouch that normally has a card with your name.

Let's start a fad! Do this using 3x5 cards all with the same number (also include your name in smaller print) to mark your suitcases when traveling. Makes it easier on the Magical Express folks if they have to find your baggage.

I bought my DD a bug net for DGD's stroller, she dyed it bright pink and brings that with to put over the rental one :sunny:
