Stroller from home vs WDW stroller

On our trip in Dec 06, DD was three. We rented a stroller for the first couple of days and loved it!! When we went to DTD, we saw the strollers for sale there for $40, DH being the frugal type, said it would be cheaper for us to just buy that one, which we did. Well the convieniencce of having it at non park times was ok....I still liked the park strollers better. There was more room to put things on/in them. DD is now too big for the 'normal' strollers, so we rented on our visit a couple of weeks ago, and will definatly rent again this upcomming October!!

I love the strollers at WDW and my DD used one every time we went until she got too big to fit! Get a double one and your little one will be extra comfy!

We always rent the double at WDW. DS now 6 and DD now 4 love to ride in them still because they are so un-stroller like. I have even sat on the bottom of the stroller to watch a parade with them.

We like the convience of only using them at the park and having everyone walk the rest of the time. Taking a double on the bus would be awful. Disney's sled strollers move wonderfully in a crowd.

Buy all the stroller tickets the first day and never wait in a line the whole rest of the trip.

FYI, you do not need to pay for a stroller at a separate ticket event, like P&P or MNSSHP, stroller are free for the party.

When one of ours was small enough to be in a stroller, we all had roles. The middle child grabbed the little one, I got the diaper bag, the older child folded up the stroller, and the babysitter (my now-former husband would never go to WDW, ) hoisted the stroller onto the buses. We were like a well-oiled machine!

It helps that my children are all 5 - 6 years apart, and my babysitter was a Hoss!

All this to say, it seems like you are walking to/from East Egypt depending on where your room is and where the bus stops are for your resort, and at the end of the day it feels like they have added 5 country miles to all the resort bus stops, I promise. I would not want to have to lug a small child or baby and all that stuff they need.
