Stroller Free in 2010!!!

I am SO happy to be going to WDW and NOT bringing/needing a stroller.

I know some find them a nice thing to have to help lug stuff around... but man ~ I am SOME happy to not be needing one this trip!




I took my two girls to WDW for 4 days and then a few day trips back in January/February all by myself and we survived all days with NO STROLLER except the one day I rented one so we could make tracks around WS to hit up every Kidcot Station.... we could have lived without it ~ but my 2.5 year old tends to move a tad bit slower than my 4.5 year old who is on a mission. Also wouldn't have needed it if I wasn't alone.

Had to share my joy and sense of freedom about this!

It is a wonderful feeling isn't it!!

Kinda like when you realize you no longer need to bring extra clothes in case of a potty accident or the first time you leave the house without the diaper bag!

I did the dance when we were done with bottles.

I did the dance when we took the crib down.

I did the dance when we got rid of sippy cups.

I did the dance when we got rid of diapers.

I did the dance when we got rid of the diaper bag.

And now the big dance for no stroller at Disney!

Don't get me wrong I enjoyed my kids at each stage of their lives. I just had very specific reasons for hating each of those items..... smells being a culprit in most of them.

Nothing like finding a sippy cup of milk that rolled under your couch after a long hot summer. Yarf!

I am looking forward to my first stroller-free trip this August. Except that I'll miss having someplace to stow a small cooler. I had a small soft-sided cooler I packed with drinks when we were there in September 2008. It was really nice to have, but I don't want to lug it around if I don't have a stroller to stick it in.
