I was just wanting to get some opinions on using a stroller for an 8 year old. I have two kids 4 and 8 and thought about renting the double stroller so they would both have a "resting" spot if they needed it. I used one at SeaWorld San Antonio and it worked great. ??

I doubt your 8 yr old will need a stroller. I took my 4.5 and 7.5 yr old kids last spring and my older one did great. If your older one needs a rest just get a drink and sit somewhere for a few minutes.

It depends on the child,I say a healthy 8 yr old should be able to(unless medical issues) keep up without needing a stroller,The 4 yr old is a different story...but my 4 yr old had no issues keeping the pace for 10 hrs plus with no stroller .So like I said it depends on the child. If you think the 8 yr old would want one than by all means go ahead.

We just returned from disney we were there from the 17th - 24th and we had a double stroller to use while my dd8 didnt ride all the time it was nice for her to have a place to rest when we were there for long periods of time or in the midst of a crowd it was easier to keep up w/ her. The stroller that disney has I think is pretty standard for most parks but they are expensive to rent now look into www.orlandostrollerrentals.com there double holds a good amount of weight and you don't have to worry about first come first serve. I have a single and love it.

Just get a single if the older child gets tired let them sit in the stroller and let the 4 year old stretch their legs for a bit .
