I'm trying to figure out how to best accommodate my daughter. I've been through all of our options and none seem ideal:
- Pediatric wheelchair: heavy and handlebars are too low for an adult to comfortably push
- Transport chair: no pediatric version available and the seat is too deep for her to sit comfortably; seems like she'll slouch all day
- Special needs stroller: the only one I've found in NY (want to rent one here so I can travel with it) has small wheels (think umbrella stroller). Will that work or be to difficult to push on cobblestones in Magic Kingdom?

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Kingdom Strollers rents one called the Liberty Special Needs stroller for kids who have mobility issues. They are amazing and have most likely tested the models at the parks. Maybe that would work? You can rent it and pick it up at MCO.

Ya, I’d personally just use my jogger stroller for that, but I own one. You may be able to get a used one on Craig’s list for less, or you could look into renting one.

I'd just use a jogger style stroller, a Bob stroller should cover you weight limit wise. Rent one at wdw or see if you can buy a stroller second hand for cheap and resell when you get home. You can get a stroller as a wheelchair tag from guest relations so it can go in lines with you. I'd just use the provided wheelchair assist at the airport or just let her walk/crutch.

2 things does her leg need to be straight out or can she bend her knee? if she has to keep straight you most likely need a wheelchair instead of a stroller. also I would get a stroller as a wheelchair tag so she can use stroller in lines if you go that way. as without that she would not be able to use stroller in lines or buildings. also you might post on disabilities page as other parents may have other ideas for you

Is its a full leg cast? A lot of kids use knee scooters for small cast. I suggest going to a disablity store near you and trying out everything in stock
