Stroller for 11 month old?

In my opinion, yes! I had one my last 2 cruises & my son was 5 months the 1st cruise & 1 the second & will be 2 this cruise & I will still be bringing one. My suggestions, bring an umbrella stroller. That's really all you need, & you will find that anything bigger would be hard to get around.

Hope that helps you! :flower:

Bring an umbrella one, much easier to get around with....we had the umbrella one first cruise. One night my daughter fell asleep and I wanted to go up tothe deck party but wouldn't leave her alone in the room. I didn't have a stroller with me since she was 4 that cruise so I went to guest services and borrowed one of the ships since they are full size and recline. I put her in that and was able to go up and enjoy the party while she slept in the stroller by my side. She still fits in an umbrella one now at 5 (she is pretty small)but we don't use it anymore, other than at WDW.

I agree, we took an umbrella stroller for our 24 month old and found it to be just the right size to get around the narrow halls on the stateroom decks. One piece of advice--we took ours carry-on going to Orlando and checked it at the gate coming home. It was much less hassle to check it if you don't have a connecting flight.

The ship does have strollers available for you to use so if taking yours is inconvenient you can get one from Guest Services aboard the ship.

I took my own, and was thankful that I did. It was a lifesaver on shore excursions.

We were planning on taking 2 umbrellas for our 3 & 5 year old. I just don't think that they will be able to walk at Nassau if we decide to stay all day there. Hopefully they will fit under the bed.

We didn't bring a stroller...but did check one out from GS for our day at Nassau. It worked out well..because our dd6 fell asleep before we got back to the ship...so it was real nice to be able to push her around instead of carry :teeth:

One thing though...Please if you bring a stroller (or get one from GS) DON'T leave it parked out in the hallway. It does make it VERY difficult for others to get around. Maybe if your just running in your stateroom for a breif potty break or something...but if it's going to be 30min +++ bring it inside your stateroom and park it there. I can't say how frustrating it was everytime we went back to our stateroom to get around the stroller that was parked out in the hall 24/7 (or so it seemed).

I agree with the others bring the umbrella stroller. It folds up nicely in the cabin and placed in the corner. We took ours last year, and my DD even liked using it on the ship to just sit and see everything while we walked around. Also like someone said it is great for shore excursions!!!!! My daughter will be almost 3 this summer and I am taking it again in August.

Definitely take our own stroller with a child that age! It will make it much easier for you while standing in line to check in & then board at the terminal.
