Can you recommend a quality stroller fan to me, please? We are going next month and want to get one for my son. Thanks!

We've used the Dreambaby Stroller Fan in the past. I think it's about $10 give or take, and most major retailers carry it. Actually, it was the only one we could find, and it worked out okay. It's nice because it has foam "blades," which DS would grab without getting hurt.

I just picked up the Dreambaby at BuyBuyBaby! Hope it works for our trip in 2 weeks!

Dumb question ... are stroller fans battery powered? How long do the batteries usually last? I assume I'd need to bring spare batteries just in case...

Yes, they are battery powered. We brought rechargeable batteries and charged them back in the room every other night.

I bought the KF baby clip on mini stroller fan on Amazon for like $5 (actually, i bought 3, one for each kid), and they were amazing! I highly recommend it. It even comes with a car plug in. The batteries lasted about 3 days before we needed to replace them.

I don't like the fans with the foam blades. Inevitably, no matter how hard I try, one of the kids always end up pulling off a fan blade. My nephew pulled out a fan blade on our first use. I pay a little more for the ones with the cage around the fan blades.

Disney makes a really cute one to clip to the stroller!! ::MickeyMo

We got one of the clip ones from Disney and had to replace it several times because the batteries died. :( Of course they replaced each one for free - but it was still frustrating. We ended up getting the spray fans

Well, guess there are 'lemons' in everything! I would just keep asking for a new one, surely one would be good!! :D

Love the Mickey face and the hands that grip!

Just wanted to update...

After our dreambaby fan was ripped to pieces nearly immediately, I finally found the best fan. No foam blades to be ripped out on this one. It's on amazon & it's being sold by two different sellers. Once I realized it was the same fan (they don't call it the same) I went with the cheaper seller that also included an additional, backup battery and two handheld fans. This fan works amazingly. You charge the battery with the provided USB cord. When I got it I plugged it in to charge it & was shocked with how powerful it is- it actually makes my thick, curly hair blow in the wind. I figured it wouldn't be that strong once it was going on just batteries. I was wrong! Just as powerful! This is a great fan! Totally worth the price, especially with the second, backup battery & two handheld fans. The "on switch" is a dial that controls the fan speed. It rotates 360*. It's great. The instructions say it lasts 6 hours on one charge. Gonna test that out today.

Cheaper one with freebies:

More expensive one with more reviews but only 1 battery:

Just thought I'd share.
