stroller fan/mister?

I dont know if they have stroller misting fans.. I know at the park they do sell stroller fans... and misting fans... they are 2 different things.. I got my misting fan at riteaid for about 5.99... they were on sale from 7.99 at the parks they are 16.95 I'm not sure about the stroller fans... When ever my son would nap I would just lay the fan on his "snack tray" and let him be faned that way the fan blades are made of foam so if it fell over or touched him it didn't hurt...

Thanks! Do any of you know if they sell clip on stroller fans at the parks or should I buy one before I go?

They do sell mickey clip on fans at the resorts - you can use it on the stroller but I thought they were expensive. Cute but expensive :)

I recently saw clip on fans for $4 at the five below store and also for $5 at wallmart - not mickey but cool florescent colors and soft foam.

I just bought a new mister fan at Wal-Mart today. It was $3.99, and there were only a few in the whole huge display left! Our previous one lasted for 3 years....until my dh ran over with the car. (Don't ask!!!)

We bought a stroller fan at Walmart.com, but it does not have a mister. The fan was $9 or $10.

We also purchased separate mister fans that are handheld at Walmart, but I haven't seen a combo that attaches to the stroller. If someone has found one of these, please post the info!

For our trip, we got small misters in a 3-pack from BJs. This way we each have our own. DD has her own so hopefully she will have a good time with it. (My DD is 4 so I figure she will be okay using it herself.)

We have tried fans for the stroller before, but I was never happy with them so I hope that the mister situation is better.

This is the one we have too only we bought it through One Step Ahead - which I don't believe sells them anymore. Glad to hear WalMart has them. We loved ours - last summer on our annual trip to StoryLand/Santa's Village in NH so many people asked me where we got it and thought DD1 (at the time) was the luckiest kid that day! It was in the 90's and humid. I bought 2 more when I got home just in case we lost the first one!

We love ours. DN loves the breeze and is totally mesmerized by the pinwheel effect. We've had a lot of people ask where we got ours too. We tried other types of stroller fans but none seemed that great. This one gives an awesome breeze. ;)

i have a big graco winnie the pooh stroller, it has cup holders and food tray and hood wit a basket.is that too big?

is it heavy?? if its heavy I wouldn't do it.. you gotta lift that sucker each time you take a bus oh does it fold small? I'd think about that too.. sometimes they pack the bus til it screams (lol) and your gonna have to hold that still so you dont knock 20 people who are standing down with it..

I have read on previous posts that the disney stroller fans don't put off much air. People have recommended fans from ebay but I looked and they were $4 plus $10 shipping. I went to CVS this weekend and bought one there for $5. It is foam so when DD wakes up and touches it it won't hurt. I haven't opened it so who knows how great the air flow is but I figure something is better than nothing.

Is this a stroller fan your talking about ? hum might have to go by and see what they have. I tried Walgreens and family dollar but they didnt have anything :(

We have the stroller fan but, I LOVE the Misty Mate. It has a clip so, you can attach it to a stroller and it will mist them.

We have 3 of the CVS stroller fans from two summers ago and they worked well.

We also have small personal sized misting fans that I got at Wally World a couple of years ago for around $5. They have a small caribeener clip and you can use either the fan by itself, the mister by itself, or push the button on the side to make the mist come out while the fan is on. The only downside with these is that the water compartment is small.

We bought the misting fans (with the trigger) at WW before our trip last year as well. They worked pretty well, but we only carried one for the three of us since it was kind of bulky.

We also have the Misty Mates I found on clearance at the end of last summer (Walgreens had them for $4 so I bought the three that were left :cool1: ). We have the Misty 2.5 https://www.mistymate.com/shop/component/page,shop.product_details/flypage,shop.flypage/product_id,3/category_id,12/manufacturer_id,0/option,com_virtuemart/Itemid,26/vmcchk,1/ which is great because it doesn't use batteries. It doesn't have a clip though, so I think I'm going to see if my water bottle strap will work on it.

Add to those about 15 of the personal battery operated fans and we go through AA batteries like nobody's business  .

If you get one of these definitely keep batteries on you because it is so hot and you have the fan going so much the batteries will die out pretty fast.

My GF brought one at Walmart for her daughter who has spinabifida and overheats often and we went in April and on the first day she had an episode. We had to buy a new fan and Disney's Mickey fan was $15 and the batteries didn't last an hour.

Reviving an older thread to see if anyone has any new shopping spots for a good stroller/clip fan? I've tried eBay but all of them are really expensive (Mickey fans) or from overseas...which wouldn't make it in time for our trip. I've tried Target, Walmart and BabysRUs.....none of those stores carried them :(
