Stroller cover advice?

Hi everyone,

We've always seen people with stroller covers on in the rain and finally want to get one before out next trip. In the past, my wife is certain she saw a cover that zipped open for easy access in/out of the stroller so it didn't have to be constantly removed and replaced. I could go on a big-box site and search "stroller cover" but I was hoping to benefit from your knowledge and experience. TIA

We have one from Graco, purchased at BRU for around $15. Best money we ever spent! During pouring rain storms at WDW I get a lot of envious looks. One nice thing about it the full coverage, including over the handles and the diaper bag which hangs from the back of the handles.

I loved our zip down cover! People tried to buy it off my stroller, LOL. It had a flap on the back that covered my stroller handle caddy, too. I ended up giving it away on our last day rather than pack the wet thing (had to find a little girl to give it to since DD decorated it with foam Little Mermaid stickers before our trip) but I bought a new one this year.

It was funny to watch DD, when the rain got to be too much for her, she'd turn, unzip the stroller, and crawl in.

I loved always coming out of attractions to a dry stroller, too!

I bought them on ebay. The Brand is "Comfy Baby" I see they're sold elsewhere- there's a variety. I think last year's might have been the "Jumbo" for "full size" strollers. Now I got one for "All Model Umbrella Strollers" (obviously only if they have a canopy) I guess this one won't billow like the other one did on the side as you can see in the pic. It should still fit over the cup holder we attach but I haven't tried it on yet. There is a little velco piece on the top so you can secure the front flap out of the way when it's wet but you're not using it. I always folded and carried the stroller with the cover in place and could tuck the whole top part in if DD wanted the canopy folded open to see us.

I always take my rain cover to the parks with me. If I park my stroller I always cover it so I always have a dry stroller.

When it is not raining I just fold it upwards and it sits inside the hood. When it starts to rain i just drop it down.

I would get one which covers your whole stroller and gives shelter to the underneath basket too.

I always feel sorry for small kids sitting in soaking wet strollers covered in just a poncho.

Amazon.com has several different rain guards starting at $3.99. I saw them listed as weather guards, rain covers, etc.

Ours is a Graco and is great quality, getting ready for its 4th trip. We bought it at Babies R Us and later saw it at Burlington Coat Factory but if I remember correctly it was about the same price. Great to have a dry stroller for the entire trip. Ours will not fit an umbrella stroller only a full size stroller.
