I rented from Apple Scooter a few months ago for our October trip. Just found out today that they changed their policy and we have to be at the hotel for delivery and return. This annoys me only for the delivery part, so I guess we'll cancel and rebook with Kingdom Strollers. Apparently, if you book with them, you get a 14 dollar coupon for their grocery delivery. (**************************) or something like that. My question is, are their groceries much more expensive than garden grocer? Here's the link, and the offer is in the top right corner. If anyone feels like looking into this, I'd appreciate it:)https://kingdomstrollers.com/Default.aspx

Either way, I think I'll take the stroller, comes with a cooler and rain cover. But, if I can save a little $$ on snacks and stuff for the hotel, that would make me happy. I've looked into garden grocer a little, but just want other points of view since I'm new at this.

Strange, we have received no communication from Apple Strollers. We rented on for our Nov trip and on their form, we requested delivery to the Bell Captain. How did they communicate this to you? By email?

There have been several threads on this topic. Disney no longer will accept and provide stroller storage from third party stroller companies unless it is one of their contract/partner companies. It makes sense to me.

I got an email from my travel agent. I haven't had any contact from them either.

OP contact Apple directly. Someone posted an email they received from them saying that because the are an authorized ecv (scooter) provider they also can leave strollers. Its in one of the threads.

Although I don't honestly see the big deal. You hop on magic express or in your rental. Call them to let them know you are on your way. At some point while your checking in or soon after they will probably be there. I guess we don't plan much for our first day just pool time or dtd to get every one in the mood before our start the next day.

I thought of doing that, but I always worry about not being on time. I don't think it's a big deal either, especially since my TA will handle everything. We have plans for our first day since we're arriving early, before our room will be ready. The price difference in companies wasn't much considering that I had already purchased a rain cover to use and Kingdom strollers comes with one. I am wondering about the grocery coupon, though. We have never been to Disney, and have never had to order groceries before, so the prices of that stuff are all new to me.

I've heard this too. People have received their strollers from Apple since Sep. 1 with no problems.

I just received a confirmation email from Apple - delivery and return to Bell Captain. Just to make sure, I emailed them to confirm that we do not have to be there in person.

I have a mid Sept reservation with Apple. They said Disney's new policy doesn't affect them and my stroller will be waiting when I arrive.

I just got off the phone with Apple to add a parent console to my stroller reservation and they said all is well.

Thanks for all of replies! I will definitely call before messing around with my reservation!

Thanks again! I was just about to call when my ta emailed me that apple scooters is preferred so no need for changes!

That's good to know. Did the parent console cost extra? There's no information on their website about it.

Yes, 5 dollars for the week. I did end up buying a rain cover for super cheap on eBay, but I think they are 5 also for the week.
