Ok here is my delimma. Last year we took our double stroller down and it was a pain folding up getting off and on the bus along with a 2 year old and a 4 year old. This year (Sept) we are going down and I am thinking about taking my Combi stroller down for my going to be 4 year old and getting a buggy board for my now 6 year old. My question is for reviews on the buggy board for an older child--does it help with their legs getting tired or does the fact that they are still standing wear them out. My other question is how easy are the buggy boards to take off? My combi folds up somewhat umbrella style--so are they easy to pop off and put back on when you fold and unfold the stroller? Thanks!!

Never used a buggy board but had the pliko with a standing place and used it with my kids from the time they were 2 and 4 on up including Disney. Most of the time the older dd was fine on the back but if/when she got tired my youngest got a "turn on the back".

I use teh Buggy board with my 4 year ols and 7 year old. The Buggy board is easy to remove. It has two pegs that go into the plastic fittings on each of the "legs" of the stroller and to remove it you just push the little buttons and slide out the pegs. Our Buggy Board is attached to our Chicco stroller which fold down long ways - if that makes sense. If you stroller folds in half, you may not even need to remove the buggy board bc it too can be folded up that way.

My daughter never complains that her legs hurt when she uses the Buggy Board. HTH.

We just spent the week there with DD2 and DD5 and we rented the double stroller at the park for the week. That is the best money we ever spent. The buses can get crowded and it some had a time getting the strollers on and off the buses.

Further, the strollers in the parks were quite roomy and had plenty of room for bags and such and they also were extremely easy to push even with both kids in them. When getting them for the entire trip, is is $16 per day and we would have gladly paid that to keep from having to fight them onto the buses at times.

We used a buggy board for our 6yr old last year & it worked out great. It made a big difference for all of us in the time we were able to spend in the park. I highly reccomend using one.
