We are planning on bringing a stroller for our 1 year old and renting a double for our 3 and 6 year old in the parks. Can you rent them at dtd and the boardwalk too? Thanks.

They have no strollers because they are "marketplaces" and not theme parks. They have tons of places to go to but not all are owned by Disney. Such as Planet Hollywood and FoodQuest. They are also open to the general public with no admission fee (except Pleasure Island).

We rented a single stroller at DTD August 2004. Not sure if they do double strollers there.

When did they get those? I believe you :) but I was told they didnt have any there on another thread. Guess I should have checked with them first.

Hi

We rented single strollers at DTD in Oct 2001, August 2002, and last August.

They are located on the West Side at the Guest Relations.

I think the reason people don't think they have any at DTD is because they are stored in the back of Guest Relations so you actually can't see them :) .

I can't remember how much they were, I'm sure one time they also took credit card details as a deposit. I think last time we just left a deposit in $$$ (along with rental payment) can not remember how much, will ask DH tonight.

I plan on taking my own stroller anyways. :teeth:
The kids will have to find their own. :rotfl2:

I would probably not take my own stroller to DTD. I've heard that stroller thefts are more common there due to the ability to make a quick exit. I'd rent for your little one and the other kids will probably be happy to walk since it's not so big.

Good point. I guess I'll rent there. I do plan on taking a large clasp bike lock and folding the stroller down and locking it to make it less of a target while I am in the majow parks. DW doesnt like rides too much so we may only have to do this once or twice. The CM or anyone that needs to can still move it out of the way. But if someone wants to steal it then they have to carry it out of the park. :)
