Stroller and Magic Express

We are going next February with 8 mo old granddaughter and 5 yr old grandson. We've never flown with a stroller. Does it get checked with luggage or go on plane with you. If it gets checked can we get it before boarding magic express or will we have to wait for it to be delivered with our luggage to BWV?

You can either check it with your luggage or you can gate check (which we prefer to do). Gate checking allows you to take it through security right to the gate. When you board the plane you just leave it outside the doors. When you leave the plane it will be waiting right there for you as they bring gate checked items up right away. Only once was it not there, and we had to pick it up at the luggage carousel instead. Just mention when you check in for your flight that you would like to gate check the stroller.

We gate check our double stroller. We like to have it for airport. If kids aren't in it stuff is. We take it to magic express with us, they load it in underbelly of bus so have it as soon as we arrive at WDW.

If you take it to the Magical Express bus it is customary to tip the driver for storing your stroller, just like any piece of luggage they handle.

We gate check our stroller and it gets stored under the ME bus.

We gate check our stroller as we get on the plane. The airline will give it to you when you deplane. You will have it in the airport. Magical Express will store it for you under the bus. If you check the stroller with your luggage, you will not have access to it prior to boarding Magical Express if you tag it with the luggage tags given to you by Disney. That luggage comes to the resort on a different bus than Magical Express. I suppose you could not put a Disney tag on it and go to baggage claim and get it. That would waste a bit of time. Just gate check it.
