Strictly Come Dancing 2010

I LOL'd when during Claudia's interview with Matt, she brought up the beetroot, how he makes his own furniture and even about the dog not being 'on the farm' :lmao::lmao:

I forgot to mention... my reflexologist was on the new BBC ident!! She had a long brown skirt and a stripy brown/sparkly top (but I guess you'd miss her if you didn't know to look...:rolleyes1) I've saved that IT2 for the moment:goodvibes:rotfl2:

Well last night wasn't as impressive. The celebrities are all getting so tired and/or injured. A lot of the contestants started working again far too soon - possibly thinking they'd be voted out in the first few weeks.

The outstanding performance last night was Pamela. I really love her relationship with James - it must help put the zest into their performances.

On the other hand I always get the feeling that Kara is scared of Artem - and I think that shows too.

Keeping my fingers crossed that Ann is voted out tonight (although I loved her reaction when Anton said everyone should vote for Mark/Matt!! LOL)

I agree Libby, last nights dances weren't as good as previous weeks. I enjoyed Kara's dance, thought Widdy's dance was dreadful, Patsy's Argentine Tango was good, but no where as good as Kara's the other week, Scott just looked shattered, Gavin lost the plot, I didn't like Matt's dance (or his shirt - lol), and thankfully they saved the best till last, as Pam's was fab (but not as good as Chris and Ola's Charleston last year)

:yay: I'm looking forward to the results show tonight :wizard: I really hope Ann goes, but it will probably be between Gavin and Patsy :(

That's it! I'm definitely voting for Gavin next week however bad he is. I can't see any other way of dislodging Ann.

As for James and Ola's rumba - it hasn't convinced me that the rumba is really a dance.

I'm not keen on the rumba either, and when the celebs do it, they just look too awkward

As for Widdy, I don't know how we're going to get rid of her :confused3

I suppose we've all got to vote for everyone except her:confused3 BBC plot to make money:rolleyes1

I thought James and Ola's rumba was more like a show dance (and I often don't like those when the professionals do them - if I wantd to watch gymnastics I'd turn to a sports channel!)

Scott obviously completely forgot his routine, but at least he carried on. Matt was just over-acting, the actual dance was OK. Pamela and James deserved to be top - I'd like to be that good at 61. OK< i'd like to be that good NOW:rotfl2:

Scott should have been kicked off this week. Ann and Gavin may be horrible but at least they are putting in the effort. Scott is working 2 jobs and it's obvious that SCD isn't his primary one. But it's never been about dancing or effort, it's a popularity contest so the public has decided he deserves to still be in. There really is no standout dancer this year so as long as it's entertaining we don't care who wins.

Why oh why is Ann still in:confused3......It's a dance competition and I want the BEST dancer to win....not the worst:scared1:

Still loving Cara and Pamela

I agree with others this week, I found it quite a 'boring' week and no-one really shone out. I said the same as Mandy with regards to Pamela and James' charlston, it was good, but not a patch on Ola and Chris last year, I don't think anyone will beat that one.

I say it every week, but I'm gutted Ann is still in :( We're loosing dancers who are better each week and what they're actually doing as a pair is nothing in comparison to what Patsy could do. It's all wrong IMO.

I'm hoping 'movie week' proves to be an improvement :thumbsup2 Oh, and Scott needs to eat more, he's looking very gaunt and has lost too much weight for me. He looks very run down and you can tell with his performance last weekend.

DD and I were saying much the same thing. The celebrities who needed to lose weight look fab - but Scott is starting to look like a little old man.

Oh I loved tonight's show :goodvibes I thought movie week was a great success! :thumbsup2

I really enjoyed the professional opening routine, Ola & James' Top Gun routine was fantastic, loved it! :lovestruc

I loved James & Pamela, their waltz was amazing! :wizard: A well deserved 40! I enjoyed Matt too, thought he did really well with his Austin Powers impression, though some of the moves were a little dodgy! :rotfl2:

Again, as always, its time for Ann to leave. It's getting serious now and the others can dance 100% better than she can. I did notice that Anton 'lifted' her more this weekend, which didn't make it look quite as bad as it should have. Though when he did put her back on the dancefloor it was terrible and she looked the same old clueless woman.

Oh wasn't the opening amazing :goodvibes:goodvibes I loved it :thumbsup2

I can't believe I forgot to tape this last night, hopefully I'll catch it on Iplayer later. It sounds like it was a great show ::yes::

I've just caught up with last nights show, and it was BRILLIANT !!

I loved the professional dancers opening dances ::yes:: and I enjoyed all the routines (except Ann's of course :lmao: )

Can't wait for the results show tonight. :wizard: I really hope Ann goes, but I'm worried that someone good will leave instead

I was so pleased that Gavin was safe first, then it was a shock that Scott was in the bottom two ... but totally thrilled to bits that Ann has finally gone :yay::yay:

Another one who is thrilled to see Ann gone. Happy now she has joined Wagner from X Factor.
